Look no further when searching for a great moving company! I contacted and received estimates from 7 companies for a move from Colorado to another state. Great Plains Moving and Storage checked all of our boxes. There are many details that it is wise to address when choosing the right company. From the initial contact, Chad and Liz have been a pleasure to work with. We so much appreciate the excellent service. They were extremely responsive, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Liz has been our coordinator. She is very easy to contact whether by email or phone. The pick up on moving day was seamless. The crew was great and right on time. We know the delivery will go as well based on the high reviews for the moving company in our new home state. GPM&S provides a guaranteed pickup date and a 3 day window for delivery. The optional payment plans were as follows: COD on date of delivery or payment by credit card one month before. Many of the other moving companies require a huge deposit which is a red flag for me. The binding estimate was very reasonable too. We would definitely give this company over 5 stars if we could. Fast forward…..Another 5+ star review today. Our furniture was delivered to our new home this morning. The delivery couldn’t have gone smoother. The delivery date was completely honored. The crew was right on time and incredible in every way. They were extremely careful and did a fantastic job setting everything up. Thank you Great Plains for the outstanding service. We will never forget it.

I recently used this company for a complicated move going to 2 different locations, including one in Canada. From the beginning of the process, the sales person, Chad, and the move coordinator, Liz, provided gold standard service. They gave advice about the most efficient and economical way to conduct the move, provided multiple quotes when dates, inventory and even locations changed multiple times, and always with a solution-oriented, positive attitude. It was clear that they were dedicated to meeting my ever changing needs by offering up-to the-minute communication and information every step of the way and always when needed. This company and especially these two individuals managed the details and logistics of my move with unsurpassed service and customer care. It was a pleasure working with them, 10 out of 10!

Everyone we worked with at Great Plains was professional, respectful, and kind throughout the process. Chad is very knowledgeable about the industry and answered all my questions while we did the initial survey. Liz was easy to work with throughout the process and made sure we were comfortable each step of the way. The moving team arrived as scheduled and took great care of our belongings. I would work with them again if I could!

This is a terrible company - STAY FAR AWAY!! They lied about showing up for a delivery on the Friday before a holiday weekend. The delivery was scheduled for between 12-4pm. I called to check on it at 3pm - driver is running 30 min behind. called again at 4:00pm - driver went home. I contacted the company again and the driver said he went and it was too difficult and needed additional labor and the home owner was angry so he left. The delivery was just to the bedroom (no white glove service) and the bedroom is on the main floor with 3 tiny stairs to the front door. the home owner has a good security cameras and they never even showed up. Complete liars!!!! On top of all this, the homeowner plays in the NBA. I don't know why any delivery company would try to lie when everyone has a ring doorbell camera. You can't lie your way out of an issue, especially when you are claiming you went to someone's house. If they treat a VIP delivery like this, you will be treated worse. Stay far away from these clowns.

We had a good experience working with Great Plains. Our moving coordinator, Liz, was communicative and helped us through the entire process. The movers and driver they coordinated were great at both pickup and delivery. I would recommend to anyone looking for a local or cross country move.
