Please beware of dealing with this company. I’m 100% disabled veteran and they sold me a mold infested home. Not only was the bathroom riddled with mold, but they also sold me a home with the terrible roof that they patched up. I had to pay money out of pocket to fix the roof due to insurance reasons and guess what we find? Rotten wood black mold all over the roof. Stay away from this company and never ever buy a home from them or you will absolutely regret it. They also have Jack legs on Payroll that come by and do patch up repairs instead of actually fixing real issues in the home. Mind you there are pictures from the bathroom that we discovered in March and we had just moved in February. It is now July and we have only been in a home for five months and it is a complete waste and money pit. this has made my family sick and we will definitely be seeking legal counsel for their predatory practices. my family and I are all sick and can’t even live inside the home and are in a hotel but I still having to pay a mortgage and lot rent. This will not be the end of this, and I will not stop until they pay for this mistake that they done to the wrong family. Edit 8/4/2024: It just gets better and better. Look at what they found in our Ac unit.

My name is Kent S. I am very displeased with the followup service from Greater Texas Home Buyers. I have a 77 year old father with mobility issues and a spouse who has a heart condition. We paid Greater Texas Home Buyers a sum of 31K down on our new home that was supposed to be delivered at 9 a.m. this morning and it is now 5 p.m. and it still has not shown up. I have made multiple inquiries to our salesman Grant Ruiz and the General Manager known as “A.B.” Asking for an update as to when the home we purchased would be delivered. I still have not received a response. My last phone call was answered by a guy named Alex. I asked him to provide me with a phone number to someone who could give me definitive answers to my questions and he hung up on me. We are for all intents and purposes homeless until the home arrives. We were assured it would be here today so we scheduled the electrician and plumber to be onsite tomorrow morning to do the hookups. We now have a bill coming for $250 because we cancelled on them without giving them 24 hours advance notice. This is the second home we have purchased from Greater Texas Home Buyers and I am unpleasantly surprised at the service a repeat customer is receiving. I feel like all they were interested in was getting our money and leaving us hanging. These guys have a nice selection of mobile homes, but they seem to have issues delivering on their promises. I am hoping they will make this right.

Visiting this company and meeting with Chris Laveau was the best experience I've ever had when looking for a mobile home. He took his time to walk with me around the lot and personally showed me each home I was interested in looking at. Not only was he super knowledgeable about all the homes, but he also educated me about other buying factors I hadn't considered. His company was able to help me with EVERY SINGLE STEP of the process. From moving, setting, construction and getting the home hooked up to utilities. I literally didn't need to work with anyone else throughout the entire process. It was incredible! I deeply appreciate his help and I'm so glad I purchased from him.

After months of searching for a refurbished mobile home, we came back to Greater Texas. The quality of the work they do is phenomenal. You might find cheaper out there, but let me tell you they will not be close to as put together as the homes these folks do. Roberto is probably one of the nicest people I've ever met, and the work ethic here is evident. Grant wanted to help us find the right fit, and he kept at it and left no stone unturned. You can buy from this place with confidence that you are getting something put together well, and with the customer in mind. I will 100% give a glowing recommendation to this team.
