We caught the 2am shuttle from Antigua to La Ceiba to catch the last ferry of the day to Utila. After an unexpected boarder closure we were about 1.5 hours delayed and on risk of missing the ferry. Our driver Malfredo was incredible and did everything in his power to get us to the ferry. We got there just in time and he ran with us pointing us in the right direction and making sure we got on the last ferry. I was so impressed with his care and attention I would definitely use this company again.

Good when it goes. This seems to be the only way to get from Antigua to La Ceiba in one day with enough time to catch a ferry to the Bay Islands. We took it once and arrived as promised. However, the buses don’t always run on the days advertised. They cancelled 2 return trips in a row and for the second one, we had a confirmed reservation. They didn’t even bother to notify us and they are difficult to get ahold of. It left us stuck in La Ceiba and scrambling for alternate transport. Make sure to confirm your reservation multiple times. This shuttle is a good idea but the booking process is unprofessional and unreliable.

I was arriving late at night and needed to be confident that my transportation was going to be there. Trans-Land Shuttle communicated quickly and confirmed a change when I had given them the wrong flight number. The driver was waiting and was so helpful with my luggage and ensured the person I was staying with was there before leaving me. Would definitely use them again!
