If you happen to work for Gulf Logistics, I recommended to try and get on one of the boats that they subcontract, but do not own, as these are owned by private owners who treat their employees much better and actually care for them . The 2 HR people and safety guy are great very pleasant , but the rest of the office people aren't very supportive and don't seem to care much about their employees very rude and unpleasant along with a few of their port captains. They might even fire you over something that happened 2 years ago at a different company, just because you didn't get along with the right someone. If you want to avoid all this, don't get put on a CG boat or a boat owned by Gulf Logistics. In general, it's better to find a company where you will be appreciated and treated fairly and respectfully.. All in all there was a hand full of people that were great. Dealing with higher-ups in the office is a joke and very unpleasant… I would pass gulf logistics and C&G by even if you are desperate for employment they are basically the equivalent to GOL and REC marine. I give them a 2 out of 10

The boat equipment is very poor their office staff including Ralph they like to hire and fire captains like they're changing their I do not recommend you calling these people at all
