Be very careful dealing with them. The increased payment term to 60 days eom and our invoice still not paid as they have no budged for it.

I had a delivery from Hawkins a bit ago now. The allocated time slot passed so I called the company. After holding for just a couple minutes I was helped. They explained some traffic issues and said they would ask the driver to get in touch. Highly recommend thank you for your service Hawkins!

Dangerous drivers, they really don't seem to care about other road users!

I have put one star as it is not possible to place less. DO NOT WORK FOR IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET PAID FOR 5-6 MONTHS In a few words - completely and utterly unprofessional. I work in credit control and have had many dealings with this company, all negative. We should have known when they told us 'we don't pay waiting time' when our truck was on site for 3 hours!!! We did transport work for this company and was not paid for over FIVE MONTHS. I cannot count the amount of times I spoke to their accounts and was completely fobbed off for payment. Complete waste of my time. They then did a single job for ourselves which they demanded payment for, whilst not having the common sense to put any payment terms on the invoice, so I placed this on the payment run at the end of the month. To my disgust, I was told that 'this wasn't good enough' - I could not believe what I was hearing. I also discovered that although they were chasing for a payment of around £300 for the June account, they owed one of our other companies over £1200 for June too which they surprisingly didn't mention, or had any intention of paying. As they threatened bad feedback, I completed a payment on the bank to them, albeit reluctantly, but this was paid. I have since been informed that although we paid the invoice, they did NOT pay the invoices to ourselves and lo and behold, left us back feedback anyway! So not only do they not pay their invoices, but also their word doesn't mean a lick of anything to anyone. This is an absolute joke of a company and we have since banned all work from them. I would advise anyone against working with this company at all costs, there are other ways of banging your head against a brick wall.
