This is a company that I would never recommend to anyone to use for their "moving services". As most folks know that have moved either from state to state or internationally, it can be a very stressful time. Therefore, having a company that provides good customer service, follows up on their potential customer requests and GENUINELY provides their client/potential client with confidence that they care and want your business is extremely important. My experience with this company, and the representative that I spoke/emailed with named "Britt" was the epitome of what BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS! All follow-up after our initial telephone call had to be initiated BY ME, as "Britt" never once initiated any type of follow-up to my phone call and/or emails. In my second email to him, I (professionally) stated to him "If you or your company does not wish to work with me on this matter, then please let me know and I will continue to pursue other options." I only received a curt reply indicating "I have not received any update from the Van Lines regarding their ability to offer services in Ecuador. I imagine that they are researching agents there that will meet their requirements. I will update you as soon as I have something." That response was over a week ago, and still I have not received any update from him. It is very disappointing that this is the type of poor customer service that was provided, and this was only to get a quote! Imagine if you have actually contracted with this company and any problems arise that you may need "Britt's" support to resolve...if this is an example of what to expect, it would be my very strong recommendation to avoid this company for any of your moving needs or services. Shame on them for using the name "Heartland" in their company name. The Heartland (certainly of Wichita, Kansas) is a very good state to live and most of the companies/people that I have done business with in the past have been incredibly customer service oriented and a pleasure to work with. Those are the REAL companies that represent the "Heartland" of Wichita, Kansas! Most certainly, this company does NOT.

Also doing business as King's Moving and Storage. We ordered 2 mattresses from JCPenney's online. King's moving and Storage was supposed to deliver them. Twice we were notified 15 minutes before delivery. We both work and could not be home that quickly. After the 2nd time King's said they would bring them the next morning, Friday at 8:30 am. We waited and no King's, finally after calling around we found out they were closed that Friday after Thanksgiving, Maybe some deliveries were scheduled but we never heard from them that day. Since then, King's would not answer the phone when we called. I got ahold of someone once she said she would call back and never did. We cancelled the order with JCPenney's but can't get our refund because King's told JCPenney's that the mattresses were delivered. Kings sent the form back the JCPenney's having no signature from us because we never got them but Kings says they were delivered. King's needs to return the mattresses to JCPenney's. Update, since I posted this about 2 months ago, we have never heard from King's M and S. We do not know where the mattresses ended up. We were however, able to get our refund thru JCPenney. It is up to them to try and get the matresses from King's.

Our stuff arrived 16 days late! They yelled so much at my SO that she ended up crying. We had to call them multiple times before they would answer our calls. 4 out of 5 times, you will encounter a voicemail. It took them 2 days and 3 attempts to send me an email. They asked me to call the following day and then took the day off. This is objectively the worst business I have dealt with in the last 5 years!
