I have moved at least 25 times in my two careers and have never experienced such incompetence, irresponsibility, and deceit in all my life. I was made so many promises by Lisa Busik who provided misinformation and assured me that once my household goods were transported from Charleston SC to Mobile Al, she would personally notify me. I was informed by the delivering movers that they retrieved my household goods from a warehouse in New Jersey. I had thousands of dollars of missing tools, furniture, and many other goods that were missing, and thousands more damaged. I was informed after the truck was 3/4 loaded that if i wanted the rest of my furniture to be loaded, it would cost me an additional $4000.00. I had no recourse because Lisa Busik refused to respond to any of my calls once the contract was signed 10 days prior. They offer you .60 cents per pound for damages and you cannot sue them in small claims court. A federal magistrate is required. Read your contract if its an out of state move. They were the ones who estimated the weight and cubic feet. Later they tell you it was your fault for the mis-judgement. I would never do business with them again and the better business bureau is fully aware of this incident. My Son observed a mover dropping a 250 pound Entertainment center off of the ramp and into the ground. The mover never said a word when the blankets were removed and pieces of wood were on the floor. They also left more than 20 items covered with blankets that were supposed to be reassembled. It was very strange how Christmas decorations to furniture and various household items and tools were simply missing. I have so many other issues I could mention that just add to this nightmare.

UPDATE:——. THE COMPANY says they reached OUT TO ME BUT THEY HAVE NOT! We’re still out thousands of money due to damages and repair costs we have because of this moving company.

IF Only I could give a NEGATIVE Score and This company is the least professional company we have ever moved with. They damaged our home we were selling, our rental and cost us $1000’s in repairs in which they will not cover. They damaged so many of our items I have almost lost count!!
The crew that showed up for pickup and delivery were in a rush and did not take care of our things. The crew didn’t wear the companies attire neither did the trucks which just had a slap up magnet sticker on the door.
When our boxes arrived at the final destination they were smashed, torn with wholes and super dirty. Our stationary exercise bike was broken, 2 legs to a table missing and not found, desk is all torn up, shelving on a bookcase is broken and pictures plus so many other things were broken.
If they do break your things and you file a claim they have you call a company they hired who’s whole purpose is to make sure you do not get reimbursed
AT ALL. Also please note they do not warrenty any damage to walls, floors or any surface. Their claims department said that is normal with a move and to be expected.
Please if you do need to FIND MOVERs and find this Company please use some one else AND save you from all the headaches my family is going through!
If the company wants to make this right they know how to reach out to me. Not leave a comment asking me to call them. They caused over $2000 in damages and repairs
Very odd to that when anyone posts of the truth they have about 3-4 posts that magically appear that say how much people like them.

Terrible moving company. They had different movers deliver my stuff and over half was missing or damaged. Some boxes were even opened! Then they stole my highest price items and never returned them even though they claimed they had them. DO NOT USE THIS FRAUD OF A COMPANY.

We had booked with a different company and Heritage convinced us to switch by referencing DoT information. I wish I hadn't switched because I have never had a worse experience to moving.
Here's my list of grievances:
- Claim to use own trucks and instead an Enterprise truck showed up.
- Charged $3,000+ over initial estimate, and tried to continue to claim extra charges upon arrival at final destination.
-- Charged for all materials even though several things were already packed into totes and boxes from previous move
-- Charged extra for the totes claiming they hadn't been accounted for in the inventory
- Provided a 2-3 day delivery window and then pressured us into a next day delivery after all packing was done. This resulted in starting a 10 hour drive at 5pm just to race them there.
- When they arrived, they hadn't gotten weight tickets for a military move as requested and written into agreeement. They didn't even reload the already unpacked goods to get an accurate weight.
- When goods arrived, handmade dining room table was broken, is extremely wobbly and unsafe to use.
- Bookshelf was completely destroyed and not salvageable.
- Area rug so poorly rolled and folded that it doesn't lay flat anymore.
They claimed they would address our issues and would call us back. Still waiting on that phone call.
Beware of this company. Their lower estimates are tempting but not worth the shoddy quality.

If I could give these guys a negative 100 stars I would. They sweet talk you until they get your money then they disappear. They nickel and dime and highway rob you until you are hemorrhaging money. They broke an antique stereo console and hid the broken piece inside the unit and covered it up, They broke my headboard where I can nolonger sleep in the bed. They broke two sets of dishes that were packed in pillows and heavy towels and put bright orange tape on the box that said FRAGILE/GLASS. They broke the legs off my kitchen island and wrapped them in tape as if I would never see it. I'm afraid to open boxes because of what I may find. I'm in tears now. They send you claim forms that they say will take months to investigate . Do you think I will get paid for any of my items?????? Stay clear of this company.

Update: They offered me $177 for all the damage they did. Are they kidding?????
