This is the first time I’ve ever been happy with a moving company. We actually went with PODS when we moved from Mass toTexas late last year. It was very easy to move stuff into them at our convenience, and had plenty of friends and family to help us. When we arrived in Georgetown, we started to unpack them ourselves….but it was so much work, we gave up. I was talking to our new neighbors, and they had used HG, and they told us we should call them—it was a local small business, fairly priced, and run/staffed by locals. From the first phone call, to the last handshake, these guys were AWESOME. The young man who was one of the owners, and his 2 helpers came out the next day after we called them. They were very efficient, STRONG!, and very experienced. They had both pod units unpacked, and everything put where we asked them in not even 2 hours. This would have taken my wife and I at least a week. They were very friendly, and played with our 2 kids, asking them where they wanted their beds and toys—so cute!🥰. They even made some great restaurant recommendations, and explained how to register our cars in TX and get licenses. Told us some great parks to go to locally with the kids—just super friendly! Sprung a last minute move on them and they made it happen. I couldn’t have been any more happier with them. Not to mention it poured like cats and dogs and they continue to work happily with no complaints. They are also very attentive and patient. I know who I’ll recommend to friends and family and I know who I’ll be reaching out to again when I do my next move. Thank you gentlemen for being great! I truly appreciate it with all my heart. I hired HG movers to assist with my move. They were late, one helper was great the other terrible. I had many damaged items. When it came time to pay Drake was having problems with cc connection asked for Venmo or Zelle, which worked. My card was also charged , asked for a refund on the second charge. I heard back once, vm is full. I also had some fraudulent charges on same card not sure if the two are connected but I am definitely starting to think so as I have not had any response to my refund. Do not use this company!

This review is about a week overdue, but I’m finally finishing getting settled after the huge move. I have saved HG Moving into my contacts on my phone as I will definitely be calling them again for any future loading or unloading of items. I shopped around for helpers to unload my Uhaul and not only did I find HG Moving to be a great value, but they were also prompt, communicative leading up to the move date, professional and also handled our items with care.
