My wife and I recently used Hilford Moving & Storage via Allied Van Lines to move our 1-bedroom apartment and car across the country, and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. From the start, our move coordinator, Dalina Gomez, and Stuart Siegel did a fantastic job organizing the move with two different movers for our car and apartment. The actual movers and transporters were exceptional. Our car arrived earlier than expected and in perfect condition. Chris, who drove our 1-bedroom apartment across the country, ensured that everything from our apartment was accounted for, arrived ahead of schedule, and was assembled and delivered in excellent condition. We highly recommend Hilford Moving & Storage and Allied Van Lines for their professional, efficient, and reliable service!

We recently moved from Santa Barbara to Utah. Pete Cresto, the salesperson at Hilford was one of those guys who seemed so sincere. Lived and died for customer service. And truly, he gave us good customer service until we signed the sales agreement to use his company. After that, he never returned a phone call. The moving van driver rushed the packing team because he had his family in the cab, and was eager to get on his way (he was taking them with him across the country to go on vacation). If you look at the attached photos, you can see the movers took very little care in how they packed. Toward the end, they simply placed things in the truck without securing them. When the van arrived in UT, the unloading crew did not arrive on the day we were to unload. The unloading had to be rescheduled. When the driver opened the truck in Utah, there was literally a pile of our belongings! I was there and took a photo (attached). Our furniture and other belongings in a pile -- dented, scratched, broken. As they finally unloaded, we watched a parade of one damaged item after another, as the movers brought them into our new house. Although we took good photos of the damage as it came off the truck, the moving company makes you go through an extensive process to file a claim, and systematically denies most of what is claimed, even though we have exceptional documentation. We have moved many times over the last five decades. Never had we had such a bad experience. And, guess what? Pete still hasn't called! Almost every review I've ever written is a positive one. I hate to say bad things about any company. However, in this case, I owe it to future movers to warn you away from this group.

My husband and I recently used Hilford Moving & Storage via Allied Van Lines to move our 1-bedroom apartment and car across the country. Dalina Gomez and Stuart Siegel organized everything perfectly. The movers were professional, and our car arrived early and in great condition. Chris, who handled our apartment move, ensured everything arrived early and in excellent condition. Highly recommend!

In March 2023 I hired Hilford Moving to relocate items from one location to another, only to find that another company that we had previously hired left quite a mess behind. We had Noe's crew for the move, and you could not ask for a more professional, friendly and thoughtful group of guys. They were true experts, going with the flow and allowing me the time to do a full inventory of every item (while I had notified them ahead of time that we needed extra time for this, it was quite a task that they were more than willing to accommodate and assist with). We had a couple of surprises that required an additional day on the books which they arranged for me before I could even call the office. The office was also very helpful and accommodating, and handled all of our paperwork and requests seamlessly. I strongly recommend Hilford for your moving needs, and will use them again. And ask for Noe's crew - they're the BEST!

WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO! ZERO STARS IF WE COULD.....We hired this company to move our belongings into our garage during a remodel and move a few things to an apartment nearby. FIRST, nothing was wrapped or covered and stored properly in our garage. When asked why the movers simply said "Well that would mean more work." I literally would folllow them and cover things myself like couches, chairs, etc. Should have fired them right then and there but we are too nice and gave them the benefit of the doubt. It just got worse from there. The placement of furntiture on it side like dressers, couches, tables etc was completely idiotic as was the time it took them to move 2 beds, one kitchen table a few other things to an apartment less than 5 miles away. Then they hit us with a bill that was completely and utterly criminal and way over what they quoted. Of course they had our cc on file so there was no way to get any type of compensation. When we reached out to ask for compensation they sent us a form to fill out which indidcated if it was over a certain amount would need to be notarized. What a crooked business Hilford Moving is, save yourself the aggravation, read the reviews (wish we had) and DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY No MATTER WHAT YOU DO. The best way to feel vindicated is when they loose business because no one hires them and puts them out of business.
