Had two movers for 3 hours to come out and help move my house into a trailer. They came close to anticipated time, and seemed nice. They did not bring any of their own equipment, nor had any back support like equipment, or even adequate hydration (it was hot outside). Thankfully I had an appliance dolly. I instructed them to put fragile and light on top and heavy on the bottom, and told them what line I needed to try and stay behind (used a U-Pack trailer). This is a move for cross country. I have never hired movers, but I felt that with those instructions they should be efficient in knowing what to do. They did get to work, and I stepped aside allowing them to do what they do only checking on them periodically. After, what ended up being 4 hours, they had moved most of the heavy stuff, there were still some stuff left. My Dad and I went to go see the finished work, and as he was looking at their work, they had put my dining room table in an unsafe and unstable position and it came tumbling down almost crushing and seriously injuring my dad. Thankfully he walked away with only a bruise on his shoulder. Then we had to rearrange some at the front due to that and poor arrangement for traveling across country. Little did we know, that was only the beginning of the issue. When we got the trailer in Oregon weeks later, we were dumbfounded on the lack of quality or respect for the items moved. We had lots of heavy box’s and bins on top of marked fragile boxes. We had heavy bins on top of lighter bins crushing them, and we had our safe thrown on top of boxes and bins. That was a hair away from tumbling down (70-80lbs). We had Box of margarita glasses literally just tossed on top. They didn’t move much during the trip so how are they shattered? It was an absolute nightmare! Had I known this was the work done, I would not have let them continue and would have demanded a full refund. The guys seemed nice, but in the end their work was poor and I am thankful no one was hurt, or as of right now, nothing priceless was destroyed, but haven’t started to unpack, so I do believe there will be more.

Katina and her crew packed up my entire home! It was very neat and organized and she is on site herself helping pack and move. She moved us into our new house and fishers, Movers were sweet and respectful and everything was done quick.

I have used many movers for my job and this was the worst experience I've ever had. I scheduled Hot Shot Movers for a 2 hour move and they stated they would be there from 10am-11am. I rented the Uhaul and had it set at 9am. I get a text, saying they were cancelling because of transportation issue at 10:34am. The next text said, they were on a job and couldn't make it. I followed up with calls and text with no response. I am now out of $85 for a Uhaul, time, and extra rent. They should have had the decency to call before I rented the Uhaul and afterwards with a honest explanation. I understand mistakes happen but try to make it right. Don't waste your time and money on this company.

I was referred to Hot Shot Movers by someone who had used them recently. Katina was very professional and provided a detailed estimate. The movers called 20 minutes prior to arriving. They were very professional and all introduced themselves. This move was affordable and the gentlemen were able to get my items moved quick. I will definitely be using this company again in the future.

We had a pretty difficult move with a lot of large items, tight stairways, and small hallways. The crew was awesome, super friendly and did a great job. Booking was super easy. Katina the owner called the day before and then day of our move to check in and we spoke with her once our move was finished to make sure everything went well. Overall a great experience at a good price, would recommend for anyone looking for a local move in Indianapolis.
