I worked with Randy. They won’t tell you what time they’ll show up until the day before your move. In my case, they let us know at 6pm that they’d be there at 6am the following (this) morning. 3 men arrived and then quoted me $871 additional dollars to move my things (must be paid in cash too- sketchy) at 6am in my living room like I had another option at that point. They stated in the service agreement that my furniture would be wrapped. They wrapped exactly 3 pieces of furniture. They used TAPE on all our furniture which pulled the laminate off and they look like trash now. Dings on my entertainment center. Broken dishes. They lost several fittings for my main tv stand so now the middle rack can’t be placed back in. They smashed our clothes hamper, like it’s completely ruined. The service agreement also says that they will reassemble your furniture on delivery. The reassembled NOTHING. $3000 for this. What a joke. Don’t be a fool like I was. The one star reviews are the real ones. SCAM.

Alton moving team was really professional. They listened to all our requests and made sure to accommodate them too. We were relieved when they double packed our chinaware and also got wardrobe boxes for our clothes. Plus, the final bill was also reasonable. We’re grateful for the experience!

The movers were very careful with all my possessions, especially my hot tub, which was a relief. They cushioned my furniture with more padding, covered my floors with ramps and blankets, and wrapped everything in protective wrapping. Literally the best!

Everything about this company has been a nightmare. They have changed names and numbers frequently since beginning the process of trying to recoup losses from the company losing and destroying about half of my moms belongings. It is literally impossible to get a hold of anyone. She has left countless voicemails, sent countless texts, submitted numerous online forms, and can never make any headway toward a resolution. This has been ongoing since February 2022. The attached pictures don’t even begin to touch the damage (and obviously can’t account for the loss) done to her things. Boxes upside down, crushed, falling apart, repackaged, thrown about. Horrible, save yourself the headache and never work with them. They also contract everything out, so the claims department is located in India and conveniently never replies or gives you a new person and phone number to call whenever you miraculously get a hold of a real human being. Horrible. I can’t fit all the pictures and videos here but these are all separately damaged items. There is more.
