I'm very happy that I hired J.E. Ladd for my (2BR) move! Everyone on the team was great. (Rodney, Bernard, Steve, Tony) They took any concerns that I had into account and were efficient. Moving can be stressful but they handled everything with care and even made suggestions when I couldn't decide where furniture should go. I will definitely recommend this company and move team to friends and colleagues!

Had a fantastic experience with Jay. He and his movers were very professional and efficient. They took great care of our furniture and were able to work with a less-than-ideal loading situation at the building we were moving out of. This was by far the best moving experience I’ve had and would absolutely recommend them without any reservations to someone in the Durham area.

We used J.E. Ladd & Sons to move earlier this month. We could not have had a better experience. Jay Ladd is a total professional. He and his employees know exactly what they are doing. We have not noticed so much as a single nick on our furniture. The communication before and during the move was outstanding. Rodney and his crew were terrific. On time, efficient, attentive to detail, pleasant, helpful, thorough, professional. The owner, Jay, was also fantastic to work with. Jay responds immediately and communicates clearly. He is honest and transparent about costs. We were on a tight budget and Jay gave us do-able suggestions to bring the cost down, which we did. This is the fourth time we have used J Ladd movers. I cannot recommend them highly enough. A+++

Jay and the team took on a very tough piano move for me: taking a sizeable upright up a soggy hill after a few days of rain, to its new home. Like a piece of music, they worked in expert concert to make such a difficult task look easy! Prompt, caring of the instrument, friendly, and above all immensely skilled, they were consummate professionals from start to finish. I couldn't have wished for a better move. My immense thanks to the team and an enthusiastic recommendation for their meticulous and speedy work for any piano move!
