I forgot to put out my garbage cans. Called, as I have done in the past, and requested they pick up the garbage tomorrow. Gave my name and address then they said they wouldn’t do it unless I gave them my Palo Alto Utilities account number!! It took me a half an hour to track it down because I had to sign on to the website from my laptop because the password wasn’t working on my phone. They aren’t even the same company!! I have made this request several times in the past twenty years and never have I had to give them a CPAU account number.

Now I understand why there’s so many disgruntled comments. I asked for Green Waste to replace my compost bin, because there’s a huge crack on the top. They said they would schedule a replacement a week ago, and then they did not replace it. There is no notification didn’t replace it, and I called back following week. They said that there was a truck issue and would need to replace it at the next servicing date, a week later. This miscommunication seems to be a recurring theme. I hope they fix this soon, but I do not have my expectations high.

We were invited by GreenWaste of Palo Alto (big thanks to Lara Streiff) to the Silicon Valley Safety Fair (Stanford Shopping Center) event. It is pleasure to work with GWPA team. Quick responses and mobility to meet on site if needed. Great organization and kind staff. We provided free fresh water for participants on their event.
