Aggressive tailgating trucker. You can see the car he’s tailgating. Trying to pass cars on the right. Speeding in heavy traffic. I-25 southbound, south of SF. This guy is an accident desperate to happen.

The first of possibly more reviews. This is a camera hawking company. They will document your driving errors via camera, inside and outward facing, and then sit you in several meetings at their office to discuss. Slowly a case will be built against you to fire you. Question is: do they treat white drivers and colored drivers the same? Do they always want to bring in their colored drivers sitting through their camera and sensor meetings watching video of yourself making errors. Julie at JBS green bay is the worst fleet manager you can have. Imagine nagging mother constantly babysitting drivers. A former driver that turned into a dispatcher. She thinks she is better than everyone, talks over you, and is rude. Stay away from this old lady. Several drivers have reiterated the same opinion.

Working 18 hours a day is not acceptable and it happens often. They abuse the ag exemption to the fullest to underpay and take advantage of drivers. Drivers are blamed for everything that goes wrong at the tolleson plant and the feed yards. Hot shots are acceptable according to bqa and allowed to be used as a tool when needed but jbs micro manages drivers decisions when you need one. The only thing that was good at this company was the culture. Uriel is an underrated and undervalued asset to this operation and all the core drivers there are fantastic people. They really deserve better. $15.50 an hour to wait in line to be unloaded is completely unacceptable. Most companies pay $50 an hour after 2 hours of waiting. When I was an owner operator I billed $75 an hour after 2 hours. The plant would break and then they would blame the drivers because we used the water to rinse out the trailers and then we would wait 4 hours for $64 and lose our other loads. We were only allowed to used 2 approved trailer washouts and one went out of business so everyone including outside carriers had to use the one washout and then they limit us to washing out twice a week when bqa clearly states trailer should be washed and sanitized between feed yards to not spread sickness between cattle yards. Then they say you can’t rinse out at your home terminal either because you’ll break the water system. Hourly pay was barely over minimum wage some days. At orientation they acted like they care about their drivers but they don’t trust their drivers. I got let go because I made the decision that it was not safe to stop at a yellow light and they let me go for deciding to take the light. I had committed to it and evaluated the intersection and had passed the point of no return before it turned yellow. Jbs doesn’t let you think for yourself. I’m a great driver. I have no tickets or accidents on my record. The safety department is a joke at jbs. I could keep going but you get the point. If it weren’t for Uriel and the drivers camaraderie and culture I would have left a long time ago. Uriel and the other drivers help you and really care about you and your family. It’s unfortunate that it’s wrapped around such a ridiculous operation called jbs.

Truckers in this company driving for the chicken plants here in Broadway Virginia area have zero care for the community around them. Driving in excess of the speed limit, cutting off other drivers, road rage, and not stopping for lights is just a few concerns I have.

Just do it best if you feel uncomfortable just ask them to take a break or quit. I am still here so you know what I mean.
