I found there to be all sorts of negative reviews for every moving company out there sprinkled in with some good ones. I chose Jim’s because someone I know personally had used them multiple times & recommended them to me. Ultimately, I couldn’t have been more pleased! These guys were like the “dream team” of movers & I had an out-of-state move, which was not easy. Stuart quoted me an all-in price that he assured me would not change; I agreed and sure enough there were no awkward conversations about added costs, etc. In fact, he even allowed me to add my entire 15x10 ft storage unit into the moving truck without charging me a dime more than what was agreed. That’s right, the 4 movers took the truck a couple miles down the street and cleaned out my complete storage unit after loading up my home. That definitely felt like a huge bonus. Also, when everything was unloaded the next day, not a single item was broken. My movers were Dan, Carey, Josh, Ryan & Sean. Of course every move has it’s unique factors, but I’d give these guys the highest recommendation to allow the best chance for you to be happy with yours based on the experience I just had & that’s after I went into it very cautiously after reading some negative reviews. And lastly, from what I gathered having read so many reviews, clear communication is the biggest key to being happy with your moving service so simply ask all of the questions and state all of your concerns in advance and Jim’s Moving Service will be able to help put you at ease. Stuart visited my old place twice to help map out the required space needed & provide us with some packing up recommedations. Again, could not give them any higher praise. 5 stars all the way.

The best movers I have ever worked with. Easy to set up our appointment, patient when I called back with questions. I have -never- had movers take such care with our furniture or home. Not a single hit to walls or doors, kind and professional. Dave and Ryan are amazing gentlemen and cheerful. If you are on the fence, you can not beat this sort of quality and care for the price. They told me they go as far as Simi often, and I already plan to use them again when needed.

Great moving company, highly recommend to anyone looking to move. I had 2 other companies give me quotes and Jim's was by far the cheapest and Stuart (the manager) was extremely helpful from start to finish. He not only came out to my house the day I called to give me a quote but he also came out on my move day just to check how everything was going. The movers were also really good, I had Dan, Dave and Josh and they were all super careful with my things and very friendly. Will be recommending them to everyone I know who needs to move.

I recommend Jim's moving to my daughter. I had used the service a number of times. She called with a last minute challenge. They came on short notice, did an excellent job. Highly recommend
