I had a cervical fusion with Dr Norman yesterday. I feel great, I actually feel like I could go back to work today if I had to. That was the best experience I've ever had. And this is my third fusion so it's something I know about. If you're in pain and need some help, he's the man to see. Thanks again Dr Norman. And your staff is awesome also. I couldn't be happier.

My aunt, Cousin, and I went to support my Mom for her spinal consultation. The nurses were professional and polite. The doctor, on the other hand, is ... BRUTALLY honest and his bedside manner ,is so to speak, is none existent. He spoke as if his decision was complete before entering the room, stating her BMI was too high, he won't do an operation and she is to heavy for any table. There was no empathy or kindness. He was degrading with his words and wouldn't take into consideration her history of the congenital defect. He did notice she seemed upset, and said, " You're upset I won't do the surgery", no my mother said, "It is how you are speaking to me." The doctors' words up to this point were indifferent but spoken with dislike. Oh, the doctor straightens, plants his feet and entwine his fingers elbows on his knees. "Ok, Let's talk about the elephant in the room" and pointed to her. His demeanor was confrontational from then on. I want to say that my mother was seeking advice, to consult the doctor on what he believes can and should be done. She was scared going into his office, and a little basic empathy would have changed everything. I personally don't believe saying all this will change much of anything. But I hope this may help someone prepare going into this man's office seeking advice.

Love Dr. Norman. Had surgery and he did a wonderful job. I will definitely refer him to anybody. I thank God every day for Dr. Norman.

My experience with Dr Norman and his staff has been nothing less than absolutely wonderful. I was referred to his office because I had an MRI showing a herniated disk in my neck. He and I met and made a treatment plan attempting to avoid surgery, by my own choice. I was thrilled he listened to me and gave me the opportunity to make choices in my care. I did end up having ACDF surgery after attempting conservative treatment. I am so glad I did and I feel I was blessed to have Dr Norman as my surgeon. He did an amazing job on my surgery. I am now pain free and can live my life normally.
