Joe did my move on April 29th. He arrived a full hour late due to a flat tire- out of his control. At the end of the move, he said he “knocked an hour off” which he did not because he charged us for 6 hours (10:00-4:00) which is how long the move took. He acted as if he did us a favor by not charging the hour it took him to fix his tire. My husband paid and gave him and his partner a $200 cash tip. Then we notice scuff marks all over our freshly painted walls and all over the stairwell leading down to the basement. In addition to this, there were deep scratches down to the metal corner beading and drywall- photos attached. I emailed Joe and his wife with photos of the damage, explaining that I understand scuffs may happen but the deep scratched down to the drywall would require spackle and touchups to the paint. Lisa called me and started questioning me on whether or not my husband and I made the scratches ourselves and when I assured her we did not she told me her husband would come out and look at the damage and assured me they would cover the cost of any damages. That evening Joe came to look at the damage, once again asked if my husband and I moved anything (the boxes were exactly how they left them), and shook my husbands hand and swore to god he would cover the cost of any repairs. He offered to remove the scuffs with a magic eraser but I told him I am not worried about scuffs and I would fix them myself- but the other damages required spackle and paint to be fixed. I showed Joe a minimum of 7 different spots on the corners, walls, and ceiling that would require spackle and paint repairs. Joe once again assured us he would cover damage costs and told me to send him the bill after the painters came. He never told us to call him and make sure he is present for the repairs, we never discussed a dollar amount to cover the repairs, and we never discussed the number of repairs that would be done. If we had- it would have been 7. Yesterday I had the painter come fix the damages and just as I suspected- he patched up 7 spots on my walls and painted over. He charged $150 for all 7 spot repairs. I attached photos of the conversations I had with joes wife Lisa who immediately became aggressive and increasingly more rude as the conversation went on. I have never dealt with a “professional business” who is so rude to their paying customers. She is simply bad for business. Then Joe took over and basically passed the blame onto the painter. He emailed the painter saying I added on additional repairs that he did not agree to fix and told the painter I would send him a check to cover the rest of the costs, an image of that is included. But as stated prior- we never set a dollar amount and joe never agreed to fix only 2 spots when there was 7 I wanted fixed. I am also attaching the side by side photos I sent to Joe because he seemed to be confused. I suggested my painter- who I have used multiple times in the past, request certified mail with a tracking number because I am worried he will not get his payment with all of the back tracking and passing of blame onto him. Joe accepts cash payment and sets his rate at $150 per hour but thinks he decides what others work is worth and how they receive payment. He is not a man of his word, regardless of shaking your hand and looking you in the eyes when promising to fix his wrongs. Even with the damage, this would have been a 5 star review had they handled this situation correctly. Now they only get one star because I can’t give zero. We just wanted damage to our new home fixed. If I knew the moving company I hired would have left the place looking like a frat house hallway- I would have thought twice about hiring them.

A great team came to my house lead by Pedro. They were quick and courteous. They worked around some things I was still doing and never missed a beat. I would strongly recommend them to anyone.

Joe and his crew were great. They did a terrific job on my move, were personable and got us all moved out and organized in storage. Don’t hesitate. Very happy customer!
