Absolutely horrific experience. Against our better judgement, my wife and I hired Joe’s Moving Company because another local mover that we usually do business with had a full schedule. Joe’s has some decent reviews. Given now first hand experience with the company, I don’t know how those reviews are genuine. When the move was scheduled, I spoke with Joe and Matthew numerous times before making a decision. I would have personally visited their office but our primary home is located out of state and it wasn’t convenient for me to do so. They were very convincing and raved about their satisfied customers. They put my mind at ease and I scheduled the move last month. On moving day, the movers did arrive on time, which was a plus. After that, it all got progressively worse. The movers were unable to move my recently purchased stainless steel refrigerator properly and dented the side considerably. It is unrepairable. They said that they didn’t have the right dolly for a refrigerator and that I should have told them that I had such an item. Seriously? A refrigerator? Unbelievable. They took at least 6 smoke breaks that I could count, and 2 of the movers smelled like they had just smoked weed after they returned from their lunch break. Really professional. Multiple walls in both homes were gouged and my hardwood kitchen table, a family heirloom, was scratched in multiple places. It now must be refinished. When the move was completed, no time was taken off for any of the breaks that they took. I just agreed to the bill and paid it. I wanted them out of my home. But….. It did not end there. During the following weeks, we began to unpack our boxes that we personally packed. Seven of our boxes, specifically marked “Master Bedroom” and “Fragile” were undoubtedly opened and shuffled through. I was in disbelief. Jewelry that my deceased grandmother had passed down to me was missing as well as multiple ornaments and collectibles. I imagine that I will notice other items are missing as time goes on. I contacted the police in regard to the missing items and they are looking into it. Since I noticed the open boxes multiple weeks after the move, I was told that it would be difficult to prove any theft had occurred. I am hoping that this information saves someone from experiencing what Joe’s Moving Co. has to offer. Please don’t make the same mistake that I made.

Will definitely be using Joes moving again in a few months to move back to my apartment. I contacted Joe two days before for a quote for my moving and he got back to me when office was closed. He was able to schedule me on the day I requested and I had movers Erik and Steve. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars if possible. They arrived on time and even gave me a heads up of ETA. They satisfied all my requests and was very gentle with all my stuff. Very quick and efficient movers and definitely know what they are doing.Huge thank you to Joe, Erik, and Steve!

I chose this moving company after seeing the positive reviews and that they were reasonably priced compared to some other companies out here. My experience was pretty good as well! Alberto and Staz worked as a great team to get the job done efficiently. They took apart my furniture and got it to the next apartment all with no damage to the furniture or either apartment, and then set it all back up again. They were effective, great communicators and I would use this company going further. The intake questioning was thorough as well so I was able to get a valid estimate. My only contention was that I wish the person who did the intake would've communicated that the arrival time was a true estimate and not a hard set time. I was told they would arrive between 9-10 but they did not arrive until 1040. I was only charged the time they worked though but again it would've been nice to know that it was an estimated arrival time. Another company I used in the past came right at the beginning time so I was expecting that from them as well and was ready for them to be there right at 9am. Overall though it was a really good experience.

I recently used Joe's Moving Company for a local move, and I had a wonderful experience. I submitted pictures of my large items to Joe for an estimate, and he was quick to respond to any questions I had. I also appreciated receiving a reminder email days prior to the move, which helped to ease my mind. On the day of the move, the crew called to let me know an approximate arrival time. They were courteous and careful with my furniture, the walls, and the floors of both my old and new places. They did their best to fit a large piece of furniture into one room, but when it didn't fit, they found a different place for it and even set up my bed. I really appreciate the hard work and help of the crew. I would definitely recommend this moving company to anyone who is looking for a reliable and professional moving service.

This is our second experience with Joe's Moving and it couldn’t have been better. They've moved both our daughters from one apartment to another. Erik and Anthony were excellent. They worked quickly and made sure everything was done right. Overall an excellent experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or refer them to friends and family.
