Honestly a really good airport, and very simply layout. My only issue is compared to the SFO airport just north of it, most flights coming into this airport are way more expensive. Then gain, that does cut down on the traffic here. So I guess it makes sense. Then again, while some of the public transportation options are readily available, I really wished that there were VTA machines to buy passes for those visiting the area.

Nice Big airport , Right in the heart of Silicon Valley. No Bart connection. Light rail is half mile away and they have free shuttle to terminals. Lines are always short and decent restaurant options inside.

Well located — I actually walked from BART to see if it was viable. The airport has need of some upgrades the bathrooms are old and ugly. Some water fountains don’t work. If the administration works on those details that could improve the quality of life for travelers. I’ll be back!

For starters, I was flying with Spirit Airlines. They moved but had a very small sign that is not visible from a cars. Dropped off in the wrong location. Had to walk about 5-10 min away to the new location that was announced with small lettering. Then I went inside to grab a snack and everything was closed at 3 pm or was “coming soon”. I was in terminal A and it’s very dated and old. Terminal B, international had more restaurants, looked nicer but by then, I had to walk back to my gate. 😒 I had very high expectations, because it’s located on “Silicon Valley”. Was expecting high tech items or snazzy restaurants. I found nothing high tech and everything was closed or coming soon. Next time I will fly from SFO or OAK. Better experience at both.
