BEST MOVING COMPANY IN NYC EVER!!!! I’m embarrassed it’s taken me so long to post this review! My husband and I have used JP Urban for two moves now, the first in November 2019 and second in late August 2023. Having lived my entire life in NYC and begun the torturous shlep from apt to apt every 2 years or so beginning in 1998 (college) until now- I can only scream the praises for JP Urban as the most professional, friendliest, affordable and least stressful of all moving companies in NYC combined. Our August 2023 move from a rental in Park Slope to our permanent co-op apt in Prospect Park South was an excruciating day- we had been packing for weeks yet still weren’t “ready” when the JP Urban team arrived early in the morning. The men on our job were so kind and efficient about properly packing our ridiculous giant mirrored dresser, countless pieces of framed art, oversized furniture and just crap everywhere- 12 hours later we were in our new home. It’s taken us months to fully unpack but I noticed our largest antique mirror was cracked. When I contacted JP Urban the owner was so lovely I’m still kind of stunned that businesses behave this ethically anymore. They actually had the mirror picked up, taken to a glazier to replace the beveled mirror and re-affix the mid century wooden details. Every time we are in our living room we are reminded of how kind the people at JP Urban were to repair the centerpiece of the room. That said- make sure you get insurance when booking your move- accidents happen. Based on how much delicate stuff JP Urban has moved for us TWICE- and everything going perfectly- the mirror being cracked was more a freak thing I’d rather not think about too much. What’s important is that they replaced it in better condition than before! Anyway- everybody please just book JP Urban for your moving jobs. I’m so grateful for this company to exist in a city that seems to get nastier and more alienating every day-JP Urban is run by honest, lovely people. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻💫💕💕💕

JP Urban Moving moved me in Manhattan in mid-July. I am writing this review late in part because I’ve been very occupied with other stuff and in part because I had not finished unpacking until a couple of days ago. Now everything is unpacked. Nothing broken, nothing missing! The moving team was excellent. They came on time. The foreman and every other team member was pleasant and efficient. I was amazed at how fast they were with all my boxes and cumbersome furniture. I went with them because of their good reviews, very competitive rates, and experience moving from small NYC apartment to small NYC apartment. They exceeded my expectations on every count. I also greatly appreciated communications with “ground staff” before and after the move. I always got quick, concise, and clear responses. Working with them was really a pleasure, well to the degree one can call anything to do with moving a pleasure. I realize that such a stellar review can over-raise expectations but this review honestly conveys my experience. Thank you JP Urban Moving!!

Hands down the best moving experience I've had in NYC (and I've had MANY). JP Urban is by far the most professional, experienced and courteous moving company you'll come across in this city. Every step of the process (from requesting a quote, to booking the move, to day-of logistics and contact, to the actual move and post-move follow-up) was an absolute breeze and (most important) stress-free. They are terrific about keeping you consistently updated and informed leading up to and on the day of the move. And their team of movers were so kind, efficient and really hustled, and went above and beyond to ensure my cargo was protected in transit. Simply the best!

What a great move!! JPUrban is a professional team and made my move an ease. From days before alerting me of the arrival time , to setting up a group chat the day of the move so you know the status as well as a contact person to speak with. Marcos the team manager was courtesy and called me in person to ensure everything is going accordingly. He came in person to check out the loading area to ensure the moving van has a spot in the drive way. When it come packing and and moving …the other three tech were all very good but I don’t have their name except for the driver Alfredo. The entire move was done seamlessly and with such good care. Even after the team completed the move the dispatcher Chris texted back to make sure we are good and if not to contact them. Well this company got my vote of confidence and will referral them to friends and families. 10 GOLD start⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . Thank you all
