TL;DR: Purchasing the van went “ok,” Nothing special there, pretty average used vehicle purchasing process. Just didn’t have a good time with the mechanic shop. Bought a promaster from these people back in 2019. My only issue was I honestly decide to buy here because of a special advertised “No Down Payment with financing” offer they had plastered all over their website and in their lobby. However, turns out “I didn’t qualify” for that for whatever reason once we were well into the purchasing paperwork. That did leave a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, but all in all its “whatever.” I’m sure somewhere in the bowels of the fine print there was as reason, but it was not shared with me at the time. Otherwise, nothing special, nothing terrible, just an average used vehicle deal. When it came time for me to have some work done I recalled they informed me I would get a lower labor in the mechanics shop due to buying the vehicle from the dealership. With this in mind I decided to make the hour and a half trip to their shop. Although, I am honestly not sure if they actually gave me the lower rate, I was just glad to be done with it when all was said and done. The first problem is that they lost my work order/info after I dropped off. After a week of no contact from them I called in and they had no idea who I was or why my vehicle was there. I gave them my info again and they did their inspections later that week. The second issue I have is that the entire process took 4 weeks. As a result a combination of lost revenue due to equipment being down and a whole month of car rental made the process more costly than I was expecting. My issue is, it wasn’t overly extensive work, I believe it was the alternator, radiator and a bumper support bar. Maybe that’s normal, and I am just over thinking it, but it just doesn’t feel like it should have taken nearly an entire month for that work. When I did get the vehicle back there were some problems I had to fix. One of the headlights hadn’t even been plugged back in. It’s not possible to remove the headlight to resolve this without special tools, so I was forced to take the 90 minute trip home to fix it myself. I couldn’t get the shop to fix it as everyone left after I paid and got my keys back. It’s inexcusable as there was a prominent warning on the dash, so it’s not possible this was just overlooked. It’s worth noting the shop staff were not rude or anything. It’s possible this is all just a product of unfortunate circumstances, but my experience just leaves me unable to really recommend their repair shop.

From the the first time I called in to the operator and she transferred me to Steve Johnson. Everything was fantastic. Any question that I had with Steve about anything concerning the van I purchased he got back with me even after hours. I hope in the next 6 months I'll be adding another van to my business.
