Horrible service and customer service. Was charged for things not mentioned in the quote and they charged my card again without my permission. Took them 6 hrs to move me from one house to the other when everything was already boxed up and taken apart for them. The guys they sent look like they have never moved a piece of furniture in their life. They kept taking multiple breaks, and they also took the longest route to my house to charge. I called to complain multiple times during the process and was told someone will call me and never got a call back. Got an email saying that the charges were correct. When I asked the person that was emailing me because they wouldn’t call me what was the extra charges for they were unable to tell me. I had to get my bank involved because at this point is fraud. Worst moving company ever!! They should be shut down

Called this morning(9:30/9:45a 8/1/24) and spoke to jamie. Definitely was NOT a pleasant experience. She needs to work on her customer service and professionalism . I guess all of that falls to the wayside when you work from home.(Her words) It definitely wasn't a good representation of the business . Neither was the employee that showed up reeking of alcohol from every pore in his body(7/31/24). My heart went out ro his helper,I`ve never heard someone spoken to in the manner the guy spoke to him. I requested the owners info she said she could not provide the information, which i understand, I requested that he "CJ" call me and have not received a return phone call yet. I have damages to my ceilings and newly resurfaced and refinished hardwood floors. Damages to ceilings and walls that were just installed, a mattress and partial bed frame that is still in the living room because he said it would take an additional 30 minutes to break down and put the bed back together. I also have several boxes in the living room that were labeled 2nd floor bedroom that were not taken to the 2nd floor bedroom. In addition to teo sets of washers and and dryers that could not be moved, which i`ll never understand. The delivery drivers from Sears and Lowes didn't have a problem delivering tham. This whole experience has left me in a position where i`ll have to pay someone else for a service that i hired and paid a moving company for.. Beware, and do NOT schedule any services with this company! I would've given "0" stars if it had been an option. Smh Edit 8/23/24 Finally completely unpacked, i have clothing,jewelry and bath and body works missing, over 3k worth of merch,so NOT use this company. I called about the damages that were done ro my items that were damaged the newly refinished hardwood flooring that was ruined and all i received was a text saying" send pictures", i`m going to let my insurance company handle it. I filed a complaint with better business and the attorney generals office.

I gave 2 stars because I feel bad for the 2 men who came to us. They were 3 hours late past the quoted time. A leg to my tv stand is broken and they swore up and down that it was already like that. It wasn't but I waved it off cause they were already worn out. I'm so tired of these companies who want the consumer to pay for whole services when partial services were rendered. How come a moving company can be 3 hours late and still have a customer? I won't consider this company again for moving services. This company needs to get more employees and real "specialized equipment" for moving bulky items. The only special equipment they had were moving straps to carry the washer and dryer.

DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!! They are extremely unprofessional with how they move large items and are not prepared. No items were wrapped other than the items we wrapped ourselves in cellophane and they used our dolly instead of their own. They also didn’t have the gas cap on their truck so they spilled fuel all over the street. One of the movers hurt himself twice which required us to stop to get bandaids they did not have for themselves. We entered our complaint about them denting our washer and it no longer working the same day and then followed up a week after. Nothing has been heard since from the company and it has been over a month. We are about to report them to BBB. Just fyi please do not use.

A lot of details so you can understand my rating. All was sent to Kenway with no reply yet. **TL;DR: find another company to move your stuff.** I scheduled my moving appointment approximately a week and a half in advance for May 10th, arrival between 2-5p. I live in a 2 bedroom, 1 office duplex. When I discussed the items i had to move, i received the following quote: >Pricing Details - 2 Professional Movers & 1 Truck: >>$109.00 per hour of labor (billed by the quarter of the hour) >€$248.00 one-time Travel Fee >>Estimated Total of $684.00 for 4 hours of service Prior to movers arriving, we packed and moved all items to the first floor of the house except: 2 mattresses, 2 bed frames, 2 dressers, 1 desk. At 4p on the day of the move, the moving crew called and said they had a very hard move in the morning and were too exhausted to move another house this evening. They asked if I would be able to change my moving date. They said that if I wasn't willing to change the date, then I should pay extra for a 3-person crew so the move could get done on time. Because everything was packed & ready to go - I did not want to change my move date. I called the main office around 4:10 to ask for advice on how to handle this concern. I didn't want to have an exhausted crew come move me, and I didnt want to have to pay for a 3 person crew to make up for their exhaustion. I didn't want my stuff ruined due to their exhaustion. I also wanted to move on the scheduled date. I was very upset that I was going to have to pay the same price per hour for a crew that admitted to being exhausted and unable to perform to standard. I asked for advice, and was assured I would receive a return call, after the lady I spoke to called dispatch. I never received any further communication from the main office. The 3 person crew showed up at my house at 5p. They looked around and said that the move would take 4-5 hours with a 2 person crew, but could be done 30% faster if I paid for the 3 person crew, and the price would be the same in the end. >This is now the third time the crew supervisor has told me that I should pay for a 3 person crew. I felt EXTREMELY pressured to do this. The movers start the moving process. It takes over 3 hours to pack up the house. There is particular concern with a large dresser coming down from the second floor. My dad and I moved it before, so I knew it was able to get up and down the stairwell. While moving the dresser down the stairs, the movers left a large divot in the wall. We were not informed by the movers of this damage, and found it the next day upon returning to the property. When the movers arrive at the new location, much of the large furniture remains in the garage, and we don't ask them to take into house. We do not ask them to deliver boxes to correct rooms. We do not ask them to set beds or desk back up. We do ask them to carry beds, frames, and dressers to the second floor. During the course of the move, a cabinet base is shattered. It is very obvious it was broken upon moving to its new location. We were not informed by the movers of this damage. Despite the larger crew and the on-site estimate, the move STILL took 4.5 hours. About 15 mins before the job is complete, the crew lead bills me out. I DID NOT RECEIVE A RECEIPT OR EMAIL OR ANY WRITTEN CONFIRMATION OF MY BILL. I was told it would come to my email. It did not. My final bill was $100 deposit + $880.50 day of = $980.50. I had idea what the breakdown for this service was. A week after my move, and following several attempts to communicate with Kenway, I finally received a receipt, which included line items I was never quoted for, including cost of materials.
