I wouldn’t even leave 1 Star if 0 were an option. Had a large delivery scheduled for June. Several items were missing, 2 items were damaged (attempted to glue a handle back on without anyone seeing) Left 3 items that were not mine! A couple of weeks later showed up unannounced to pick up items that were not mine, but didn’t leave my missing items. Today, after waiting 2 months to receive missing items, showed up unannounced (told decorator 1-2p and then showed up at 10:50 with no call) Thankfully neighbor saw them to accept delivery… which only had 2 chairs and still did not contain any of the other items I have been waiting on! I have called, left messages, asked if I can pick my own items up and NEVER received a response!

We have a design firm that operates out of the Atlanta area. We have had a few installations take place in the New Orleans area over the past few years. The team at Kid Gloves is always polite and willing to change dates to accommodate our needs whenever possible. Seeing a few negative reviews about them is a little aggravating so I am leaving this positive one since they have always done us right!!

We are reporting this business to the BBB due to a fraudulent charge on our card for a moving service never performed. A deposit was made on this customers behalf yet the move was cancelled and NO SERVICE WAS PERFORMED aside from a phone quoted estimate. The deposit charged was in the mid thousands. We are dealing with our credit card company on this one since no one will return our calls at Kid Gloves. I repeat, they have taken our messages but have not returned our calls regarding the matter. BUYER BEWARE.

The only reason that they have one star is that there is no option for zero stars. Avoid this scam business at all costs. They took our belongings, charged over $130,000 then refused to return them to our home after repairs were finished. These people are RUDE, HORRIBLE, and actually breached a contract. The office personnel are terrible, and when I had to hire another firm to pick up my belongings (without any assistance or help from this bunch of crooks) my clothes dryer was returned with a den of rats nested in the machine! These folks are so bad that I have hired legal counsel to file a lawsuit for breach of contract and damages for having to hire another firm. The scratches, dents and damage to our property are significant. They ( in their contract) limit their liability to $250, think about that before you engage this bunch of shysters. Run, don't walk, away from this firm or you will be sorry!

Had the best experience with the crew from Kid Gloves. There service and expertise put me at ease during the delivery . I would strongly recommend them anytime for anything related to pick/delivery of fine lighting or furniture.
