Please do not be fooled by John Kirkpatrick. He is seemingly kind and confident, BUT BEWARE! I put my trust in John to sell a home when I hit rock bottom, but he maliciously took advantage of my suffering for his own personal gain. He wanted his commission so badly that he forgot all his basic moral principles and fiduciary duty to his client as a trusted agent. If you do not want to listen to me and want to end up in a terrible lawsuit, then go ahead with John. Otherwise, I would choose wisely-- there are so many other agents to choose from.

John helped us buy our first property. We were very nervous first time home buyers with very little knowledge of the entire home buying process. The first thing that John did is instill confidence in us that we were doing the right thing. He walked us through all stages of the process and assured us that the process was not as intimidating as it seemed, even when considering the high cost of real estate in SF. The process was also slow because there were multiple bidders for each home and we didn't want to overextend ourselves. John stuck with us and had the patience to allow us to make offers even on properties that he knew we didn't stand a chance of landing. Placing these somewhat futile bids however, allowed us to figure out how the process works and we were eventually able to find our current home after a couple of months. I found John to be responsive and respectful. He has contacts all over the city and that allows him to bring an informed perspective to the home buying and selling process. I would highly recommend John to anyone looking for a real estate agent in the city.
