First I would like to say I was a customer at the facility for 13 years and spent $25,000+ to *secure* my things I've collected and fund my retirement. Also my *Harley Davidson* that meant the world to me KO Storage do you understand what I'm saying? Now this locker was the size of a semi trailer with doors on both ends. This happened during the pandemic and life was not boring I was moving after living in the same house for 35 years. My mail was on hold. My fiance was diagnosed with cancer and my God that in itself is life changing.So while packing the mailman did show up because it was certified and I thought it was agreement to sign. I never thought twice it was something else. I was wrong.... I had paid May"s rent normal $180 KO Storage credited me $18.00? I shouldn't even have received that in the mail. In fact the only time they granted me a call was after receiving another check and the lady says...you've been AUCTIONED OFF! I said WHAT? Where is my Harley Davidson she says it's impounded and up to me to find it. I called everywhere nothing so I called the POLICE. The lady at KO told me this was all over two hundred thirty four dollars. In which I can't believe they can't do math. The very next day she denied telling me that amount. I said really do you think I made it up? I said enough of your lies I need to speak to management. So I get Zach he reviewed it called the next day and offered all my rent back I ever paid KO Storage about 18 months. I said NO. Then Ian takes over and said Jerry I can get your Harley Davidson and family pieces. What else...I said EVERYTHING! Not one word after that communication was done. Now I've emailed Jon Marshalla no replies. When KO Storage took over things started going south. Meaning I had sold something on eBay I went to pick it up and gate access didn't work? I texted them and 5 hours later I get 2 words "Satellite Issue" needless to say I lost the sale.In which I said this is how I can pay for this locker. That said...former owner would have been there in a blink. Let's Recap... *No signed lease *Their math error ..cost me my retirement. **During Pandemic *By law you can not enter locker for 29 days. June 3rd they were taking pictures *By law they needed to let me know where motorcycle was at. *So many lies from EMPLOYEES *No Damage Deposit refund? *Auctioned off way to early **No Replies from owner of business? So Everyone Your Thoughts Should A Customer Be Treated This Way ???

I rent a storage unit in Bethany, Oklahoma. I pay for a locked, fenced unit with security cameras. They don't provide a secure locked gate (it's been open and broken for a year) and the security cameras aren't near my storage unit. I found my lock to be changed, my unit was broken into, ransacked and several items were stolen. The gate at the time, like I said was WIDE open and has been "broken" for quite some time. There was no security footage to provide police either due to lack of cameras at this KO facility. I attempted to call the help line to get help accessing my unit. Frida was entirely unwilling to help. But, I called back and luckily got through to Andrea who helped me urgently. As a consumer, I'm absolutely not getting the security I pay for. The police officer stated he's at the KO storage facility often for frequent thefts. I blame KO and their lack of theft prevention services that are ALLEGEDLY provided. Do not rent from them.

I rented a space to leave a car in an enclosed space at Niceville, Florida. I told them it would be a month before I needed it. They started charging me that day and charged me for 3 months. The told me I’d be able to access it anytime. This wasn’t the case. They don’t open until 6am which caused me to have to leave my car somewhere else and Uber to the airport. $165 a month for 3 months and I never stepped onto the property. When I called and explained, customer service was lacking. Got treated rudely and no offer of even a partial refund.

KO Storage is an example of corporate greed. They purchase storage companies around the country and raise the rates for existing renters. We had a multiple units at a facility in NH with a reasonable rate (12/ft per year) $100 per month. KO purchase the facility. Jammed more units on the property. Made it harder to enter the facility and difficult drive a truck to the loading area. No improvements. However, we received multiple notices to raise our rent. It has already gone up to $112 since they purchased the property. They wanted to raise it to $149/mo or 33% with the last notice. We are seniors (65+) and have had our units of many years. Costs do rise for companies but this facility has made no improvements and is self-service (no staff) so where is justification to increase rates? Using a comparison shopping site such as Spare Foot, other units in our area are priced at $112. They know it is hard for current renters to move out once they move in and take advantage of the situation. My advice is to shop around and consider moving out.

I HAVE HAD MY STIRAGE UNIT IN CHEYENNE WYOMING FOR THREE MONTHS. THE FACILITY IS VERY CLEAN AND THE MANAGEMENT is very nice. The price also seems very fair. I really like it there. Thank you.
