I was in the area, and decided to stop by this cute (not so little) book store. It was a pretty pleasant experience all things considered. They have a pretty solid collection of books (I picked up a couple while I was there), and their staff was friendly too. The shop definitely had a bit of a political bend to it, which isn’t my favorite, but it’s a privately owned shop. Still a cute spot to check out if you’re in the area.

There are bigger stores in the chain like SF or Mt View but this is a great chain and I can bike to this specific store and they can get books from other stores in the chain. Staff is well versed in the inventory. Could use more seating.

Had my book release at books Inc and it was incredible. The best independent bookstore in the Bay area. If you stop in the pruneyard location make sure to pick up a copy of Youth Group ;)

Books Inc. is easily one of my favorite bookstores in the South Bay. I have a passion for collecting various cookbooks, and surprisingly, Books Inc. consistently offers a wide array of well-priced cookbooks, often beating online sellers. Their diverse genres and a spacious children's book area, complemented by toys, make it a fantastic spot in a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shops. Service is always consistent, fast, and helpful. I frequently bring my nieces and nephews to indulge in their love for reading and enjoy lunch, macaroons, and ice cream nearby. While parking can be busy on weekends, the overall experience is well worth the visit.
