For starters my husband is a retired disabled veteran and this company is supposedly veteran owned so that was a big part in why we wanted to do business with them. We have been using them for a little over a year and everything was good the management was very nice and flexible, really made us feel like we were family. Worked with us in hard times and still valued us as customers. But up until here recently I haven’t been very happy with my service nor communication with the employees. First there was a huge increase in my monthly bill that happened within 30days, which I kinda understand “inflation”. But what I don’t understand is the poor communication and customer service. I had an employee reach out to me to let me know my bill was 10 days behind but that it was just a courtesy call, I then let him know that I do talk with the “manager” and they know our payment arrangements. Before ending the call I did let him know that I needed to come by and do an inspection for a military move and asked would I have access to my unit, he reassured me that I am only 10 days behind and I would absolutely be able to go in. So the next couple days comes and I go to my unit and of course I am denied access to my unit. I go inside to speak to a manger and it’s a completely different person Iv never seen before. She is immediately giving attitude and barks out rental agreement terms, not even listening to what I am actually saying. Pretty much telling me that Iv never had access to my unit in the pass if my bill isn’t current, even though on MULTIPLE occasions over a course of a year Iv had access to my unit with my payment arrangement in place. She then states that she’s been her for over 2 years and she knows that I haven’t but when I call her out about never seeing her here she then corrects herself and say I was just transferred to this location because the previous managers couldn’t do their job right, hinting that them being lenient and actually working with their customers is soooo horrible and against policy. All I can’t say is I guess it’s new management so go ahead and save your time and most importantly your money cause this place is nothing but money hungry! Don’t care about their customers at all, I have to call the actual owner of the entire company just to reconcile with me and the current managers.

The staff were so professional. I can’t remember the name of the man who helped us but he was very helpful on my tour. He showed me all of the safety features once he realized that was something I was paying attention to. He pointed out all the cameras, informed me that the elevators will only take you to the floor your unit is on. As a woman who is often multitasking, such as dropping stuff off at storage as I go to or from work, these are important features for both me and my daughter. This is by far the best and safest storage facility I have ever rented from. The fact that it is heated and affordable is what drew us in but the safety features were an unexpected and very welcomed surprise.

I’ve been using Lacey self storage for over a year now. They really are great. Well kept facilities. No rodents or issues. And the staff is really exceptional. Just so incredibly kind, clear, communicative. I really appreciate this storage facility. Makes you feel like you’re a neighbor and friend. Highly recommend them.

They need to work on getting more qualified employees before they hire them. One lady cost me over $140.00 in late fees because she lied and said she would set me up to vacate my storage with otherbfees. Ehen I calked a different employee said that was not true. Before management could confront her, she quit before the story could be fully explained. Left a bad taste in my mouth though. Not sure if I ever got my deposit back, and other fees.
