Ron Lawrence is one of the best places to work for. I've been here over a year and any time I've ever needed anything they have been more than willing to help. I love the people I work for. It's a family environment thru and thru from the owners to the drivers everybody is treated like family. I couldn't have asked for a better place to work. Don't listen to the negative reviews they are just disgruntled drivers that have a bone to pick. For no reason.

Great friendly place. Wonderful people and family oriented. I have been with Ron Lawrence and Sons now for 5 weeks and I have to say everyone in the office is great. The work is constant and easy. They do not micro manage there drivers. Just do your job and everything works like it should. The equipment is well maintained. The pay is what they told me it would be. The everyday part of the job is easy. No BS to deal with either from the office or the customers they service. If you need something for your truck just ask and they will get it for you. The best part is there are no stressful situation at all. You are finished usually on a Friday and can spend the weekend or your 34 hour reset at home with your family. Like any trucking company things are not going to be 100% exactly like you may like them but RLS gets very close to that mark. Also like any other company you will have employees that are lazy or just don't understand the trucking business and how difficult it can be. So instead of blaming the industry they blame the company. I tell it like it is with no filter at times and I have to say RLS is a great company.

What's worse than swift u ask? I should've listen to the reviews.these ppl r so bad..the loads r horrible. Picking dump from recycling place n they unload n leftover dumps u have to clean or else they'll fire u like they did me. you'll probably vomit trying to clean a whole trl .. N if u run low on fuel or def coming or going to LA they'll take it out of ur paycheck!!! Any probs w the truck they'll blame it on u as if ur the one who caused it. Did I mention they'll make u work on ur 10hr rest period? Just so u can meet their delivery appt?? Yeah 14hrs shift turns to 17-18hrs..just to bring back $700 a wk!!!!

Any driver considering working for Ron Lawrence and Son Trucking should re-consider if you have a choice. Yes, their trucks are new & look nice but their trailers are old an need repair. Be prepared to run illegal for it's the only way their loads can be del on time the way Kelly dispatches. Don't expect a trustful answer to any question you ask. Steve & Kelly believe that the .less you know is better. Don't bother putting your best foot forward in doing more than expected, they don't care & will not benefit you at all. Last, if Steve starts talking about being a family run business don't believe it. It ain't true.
