I started working for legend in December 20 23 got assigned a KW with a broken inverter and broken bunk heater. Now let’s talk perks was promised a $10,000 sign on bonus over one year. Was also promised $.60 a mile running to I-5 corridor north to south out for 70 home for 34 home being northern California. After six months I was asked to take a five cent pay cut along with other drivers OK being a veteran driver I was OK with this then two weeks later, a driver manager called me and said legend is going to discontinue the I-5 route. and they only 11 Western routes available. Then one week after that I saw an ad saying $10,000 retention bonus plus I-5 routes available. This is why I chose to part ways with them. They cannot be trusted. They are just as typical as most carriers, they wanna get you in the truck. This is how they take advantage of new truck drivers. This is how companies like this one and Swift prime Schneider Warner most major carriers make their money. It sucks for new drivers. Luckily I’m experienced and knew when to part ways. Good luck on your adventures and thank you for reading my review and understanding my personal experience with legend.

Very slow work. You do more sleeping in the truck than work. Also, after you deliver your load, you always have to wait 3-4 hrs to get your new assignment. People who gave this company 5 stars are dreamers. This company is currently trying to cheat me out of my money that I earned because I resigned. They also withhold monthly bonuses by finding any excuses to say that they cannot give it to you. For anyone recommending to apply to this company, I urge you to reconsider!

Be very very careful before you decide to work for them. OTR is not an easy gig, but if you cannot trust the people you are working for, it'll make your life absolute hell.
