I move my family from Valley stream to Long Beach Long Island.I spoke with George on the phone,he gave quote.Movers arrived on time. They are very professional.All furniture was covered with special pads and delivered the in good condition.Price was the same they promised.Very recommend

Absolutely horrible experience! They damaged a piece of my furniture, and tried to blame it on me saying it was because the dresser was too heavy claiming I still had items in it, which I did not. They also broke the rubber handle off of one of my chests, also claiming it was too heavy, but when I asked why he didn't have one of the other movers help him, he had no response. They also scratched the hardwood floors in my new unit. And when I asked for money back off the very generous tip I gave the men, which was given before I saw all these damages, they owner tried to say that I should be happy I got the cheaper rate since it was a peak time, yet their website does not say anything about different rates (see attached photos). Would never recommend them to anyone, especially with their complete lack of customer service or even willingness to give me some money back off the tip. Horrendous!

I am obligated to share this experience as I do not want it to happen to anybody ever again. I had the worst experience with this moving company. I had moving on last day of month. I scheduled elevator at my both place for 3 hours and everything was planned. After the time started and I did not hear from them, I called the office and I did not get any response, then I emailed them and I got reply that the truck is broke and they are trying to fix it. I keep emailing and calling that what should I do and I did not hear anything back till half an hour to the end of my scheduled time that they are coming and will be there after permitted time. I begged my apt to let me move and I only had one hour sharing with another tenant till they close the door, you can imagine how much emotional stress it imposed me till. They started to take my stuff out but so aggressive and they were hitting ceiling, lamps. All my furniture is damaged, I will attach a picture of my couch, so you never think about this place. But wait for the worst. After 30 mins one of them started to yell at me that I already had 3 moving and I cannot do this and started to yell in "foreign language" and yelling nonstop! "we never take work in your neighborhood". I was all alone and as a girl I was so scared and he aggressively was yelling and showing aggressive behaviors and his colleague was trying to calm him. I don't know if they were playing good cop and bad cop or he was really aggressive. At that time I started to cry and told them I am the nicest here and I did not even say a word why you are late, I just want to move and move as much as you can if you can't move all. I was moving heavy couch and bed to the door to facilitate their work. They went down and came back and said they will only do as much as possible. I was working as the third person nonstop equal to them. Long story short I begged for every pieces to be moved after that and I ended up moving my desktop and few boxes later by my car, and now I left With damaged wrist and shoulder pain. At the end they charged me $600. They asked for tip after that and I said I don't have cash and they asked for check and that was the only time I dared to say I am not happy I don’t think so.

I had to move my stuff on a relatively short notice so I wasn't able to make a reservation much in advance, but the guys from LIM were really flexible and came to my place the day after I called. I received an almost 100% accurate estimate, timely service and more than a reasonable price. The movers were very pleasant and professional, and everything was packed, organized and moved in the safest way possible. And most importantly - there are no hidden fees! (which was my biggest fear since I was on a tight budget) All in all, I am extremely satisfied with the service. I hope that I will settle well into my new home and not have to move for at least a decade, but if I do, these are the guys I'm going to call! My warmest recommendations.

Really horrible experience please save yourself the trouble!!!! We spoke on the phone AND confirmed over email with George for a 26’ truck and 3 movers for 9AM Sunday morning, which is the day before we close on our house. At 10:00 AM on Sunday we called to see where the movers are, only to be told by George that we never confirmed. This is a blatant lie and I have an email to prove it but I obviously really needed movers so I agreed when George told me they’d arrive by 11:30 for a “last minute job” (which it wasn’t since we’d confirmed a week earlier but ok). PS throughout this time, he flat out ignored our calls. At 12:00, he said oops they’ll be here by 1:00. And when the 3 (by the way, absolutely filthy hands with no masks) movers showed up with no boxes and a 16’ ft truck at 2:00, George offered to up-charge us another $500 for a second 16’ truck IN ADDITION to the flat rate we’d already agreed to over email. We had to send them home and are now scrambling to move at 2:30 on a Sunday before our 9 AM close in the morning. Hands down the most unprofessional and unreliable SCAMMY experience I’ve ever had EVER and George was horribly disrespectful and nasty, blamed us for HIS error several times, sent people that don’t even work for him with the wrong equipment 5 hours late and then tried to upcharge us. Put us in an extremely bad position today DO. NOT. RECOMMEND. And will absolutely be reporting them to the BBB for this SCAM that they pulled on us today!!!
