After 1 year or so of working for Lion transport I have had a few paychecks short and Manny insisted that I drive with a trailer brake chamber snapped off of the frame from Indio California back to yuba city for repair. Not the safest company to work for.

Guy driving recklessly with a flat bed had loose gravel and chipped my windshield while speeding in the left lane!! Completely unsafe and reckless

Been driving almost 2 years with them now. Trucks & trailers are very well maintained. Get very good miles & home time too if needed. Highly recommended.

Manny and Raman are the owners of the company. They will not pay you on time. Many of my checks were shorted on miles. Also did not reimburse me for fixtures that I paid out of pocket. I DO NOT RECOMMEND for you to work here!! Be careful with this company. Manny is very persuasive and smart and a very good liar.

Lion transport called me to check out a reefer 53' van in which was loaded with frozen food products was 30 degrees in yuba city, California traveling to ridgefield Washington, was unable to maintain proper temp. Customer called from Redding California telling me his reefer temp was climbing rapidly because engine failed to run or start, requesting me to meet up with driver in ridgefield, wa. And see if was something I'd be able to fix on side of road b4 he had to deliver later in ridgefield because he feared load would be rejected due to temp being too hot for safety of food to consumers. I offered to try to repair unit if possible along side road. 4 hrs later he arrived in ridgefield, wa. Reefer unit temp. 44 degrees and climbing. I attempted every troubleshooting and diagnostic procedure I could only to be able to get engine to run 1-3 min.s at that point I contacted "manny" in dispatch and advised him of situation and to take to thermo king service center in troutdale oregon and agreed. When I presented him with invoice 5+ hr.s which I dropped down to 3hr.s, he refused to.pay me asking to be able to take to dealership for complete factory diagnose. I aske to be pd by 3pm he agreed. 5pm upon calling him for payment he refused again. Contacted thermo king and was told he was hand transferring load to another trl for delivery next day( when they could show product temp. At correct temp.), several more attempts of getting pd with no answering my emails or calls. Now had to go next level I would avoid using this shady fly by misusing proper business procedures, low life scum bags.
