Had a great trip to South Africa. The tour guide was amazing, went out of his way repeatedly to ensure an epic trip for everyone. The animals were majestic on our safaris and the penguins were so fun to watch. All of the accommodations were completely accessible. No stress at all. Thanks Wheel the World for a great trip!

Our accommodations in Las Vegas at the Luxor were excellent. When we had a question regarding an upgrade that we did not request, Wheel the World was there for us, even gave us a call to confirm and reassure us that this upgrade was handled by them and did not cost us any additional money. We will definitely use them again for our next travel needs.

Let me start by saying that I don't think my experience was typical. In the end, I think you can judge a company by how it reacts when things go awry. I used wheel the world to help plan a once in a lifetime European/world tour. All of the accommodations were indeed accessible, with the exception of the one Italian hotel, whose stair lift broke after the first time i used it. Kudos to Gunita for finding places to stay everywhere i wanted to go, and helping change plans mid journey The problems started when we tried to leave Rome. I had reserved an accessible taxi, which turned out not to be; it was just a normal van. This was 3am on a Sunday, and we needed to get to the airport, an hour away... well long story, short, we missed our flight, and spent 2 days stuck in Rome looking for alternatives. Wheel the world was in constant contact with me and booked me into the airport hotel in Rome at their expense, and returned the money for the taxi, and even reimbursed me the cost of the missed flight It was the right thing to do, but some companies will do whatever they can legally do to evade responsibility, but wheel the world agreed without a fight, and with all the stress i was already under, I can't overstate how much i appreciate that

All and it was a good experience. Wheel the world went above and beyond when the hotels messed up regarding accesibility. Even though the agency had contacted the hotel to make sure they had all in order they did not.WTW were deligent, responsible , responsive to fix the problems promptly on it each one. I was very impressed by this.WtW was incredible with communicating problem solving and go the extra mile for the traveler. Which I really appreciated! The tour guides were very knowledgeable,responsive and great with customer service . As far a activities the boats to Torguero are not accessible must be confortable with getting lifted by strangers.The hotel was very accesible and the staff was fantastic!.The trail in Torguero fully accesible and acompanied by a very knowleagle tour guide. IN Arenal ,there were trails hard for manual users such las mariolas .I would have prefer a to be provided with a free wheel or firefly.. I saw three sloths, birds, tucan ,lizards and venomous frogs. End the trail with a small meal after a short demostration of how to do tortillas. It was delicious food a great ending.The hang bridge trail there only one accesible bridge yet you pay full price. I went to Manuel Antonio National Park for only an hour because it six hours away Arenal and they closed at 3pm yet I paid full price. For this trip must be a morning person everthing is very far away. There were meals that were not cover and for a solo traveler it which for the price I paid for should have been covered. also for solo traveler the price is more which I wish they would a different price for solo traveler.The country is beautiful known for their adventure and coffee and wish they would have include this in the in trip.

Wheel the World has been fantastic - I planned a complex trip to Greece that included 4 different destinations - including the islands of Aegina and Corfu and the cities of Athens and Volos - and several places of religious significance that are off the beaten path. All of my transfers to and from the airport in Athens and Corfu and trips to sites within Greece have been very smooth. Someone was always there, waiting for me, so I never had to worry about transportation (unless I wanted to take a taxi on my own, which I did several times). I had wonderful, knowledgeable local guides in each city and island. Wheel the World staff has been professional from the beginning to the end, alleviating my concerns and making adjustments to the trip itinerary as requested. To whoever is reading this, it is possible to get around Greece in a wheelchair! Transportation to remote places the biggest challenge but that can be taken care of in advance.
