Found this moving company through a goole search for San Jose movers led me to this yelp listing. Called them first while planning on calling several. They were really courteous and informative explaining the services, fees and cost savin tips. Just as originally explained there weren't any surprises at payment time. Move day they arrived right on time. After a walk throuh of my place, signing a ton of paperwork and detailing a few special requests I needed done, they got to work right away. I inatially intended on reserving 2 movers for my one bed apt but ended up going with their recommendation of booking 3 movers suggesting it would be more cost effective for my size and type of move having stairs and elevators involved. After experiencing the actual move, I must admit they were right. They took great care of our furniture and worked amazingly efficiently without complaints in light of the really cumbersome ackward stairs where we originally lived. All in all, we were pleased with the service and ultimate cost of movin us from San Jose to Palo Alto. FYI, they didn't have any add on charges for gas, stairs or mileage but did apply some type of mandatory "double drive time" fee which from my research is a California Public Utilities Commission regulation required for all local moves. We booked them again two days later to help us with part two of our move involving a storage unit nearby. Again, crew was professional and efficient, and worth every dollar. I would recommend them to anyone who needs local moving service, whether its packing, moving, or unpacking.
