Lone Star Moving Info | Compare Moving Quotes

My mother lived in San Angelo for 2 decades and used Angelo Apartment Movers for many household and equipment moves and was always satisfied. I am guessing Lone Star bought them out. (Unfortunate). The entire recent experience was horrible. Lone Star moved my mother from San Angelo to another Texas town 5 hrs. away. They were late for their initial visit by several hours. It took several days, and many phone calls from my mother, to get a quote. The quote was a determined flat fee that was inclusive of all costs for the move. The moving crew was supposed to be at the apartment for loading at 9:00 AM and showed up at 10:15AM with no notification. They were to pack her personals and load her furniture. Photos included document the condition of their "packing". Random items thrown in boxes with no care or packing materials. There was no designation of what was in the boxes or what room the contents came from. It took forever for them to load. We were told that we were doing the entire project in one day. Packing, loading, driving, unloading. The crew leader, at about 1pm, stated they were not delivering until the next day. This caused many difficulties in prearranged details with the senior living home and arrangements for my mother to sleep elsewhere another night. They showed up with only 2 crew members the next day at about 11AM. Hours later, they finally got everything off of the truck. The driver, Jesse, tried to add $990 in fuel charges and fees for the packing boxes. If I had not been there to intervene, I am sure my mother would have been bullied into writing a check for some ridiculous amount. In my opinion, this is elder abuse. If you have used Angelo Movers in the past, you will be disappointed with Lone Star.

OMG! I had scheduled with another company six weeks ago for Tuesday 08-27 to help me finish packing. I was called saying she needed to cancel; then Wednesday 08-28 for the actual move. They were supposed to start at 10:00, but called at 9:00 and told me everyone was sick, extremely professional! So I called Lone Star Moving and Cheri got me in Friday afternoon. The guys showed up at 12:30. I didn’t realize I had so much junk but they treated everything as if it was their own. They got things moved without even taking a break. These guys worked hard but very smoothly. I can’t say enough good things about this company. Everybody worked so well together, seemingly like they knew beforehand what the other person was going to say!!! Thank you so much Cheri and your guys. So many things were wrong with the other company, and I highly suggest not to ever use them and pass it along whoever is looking for a moving company who has so much respect and cares so much for what they do!

We are so happy with this moving company. Cole , Rick, Daniel and Lance were very hardworking, respectful and treated our household items with care. They were able to get all of our items moved into our house within a few hours . They noted where we wanted our furniture and put the labeled boxes in the appropriate rooms. What a major help! We recommend this company very highly and if we ever need to move, we will be calling them. We can't thank them enough!

From the first conversation with Cheri in the office I knew I picked the right moving crew. Their attention to detail and concern for my piece of mind was more than I expected. The crew..Curtis/Anthony/James.. moved my 12’ Longarm table with a 26” quilting machine attached from Abilene to Robert Lee with such care. They treated it as though it belonged to them. It will be moved again in several months and I know who I’ll use at that time. Lone Star Moving !!! Thank you for all you did.

These guys weren’t only super cautious with our fine furnishings but went above and beyond to make certain our items were perfectly placed to our satisfaction. I HIGHLY recommend Cole,Rocky,Roger and Toby for all your moving needs…large or small. Give these guys a call!!!
