This was by far the worst moving company I have used in my 18+ years of military service. Go to your transportation office and ask for another service carrier (TSP)! Even if they offer to move you for free-run, it took them 2.5 days to pack the downstairs of my 2608 sqft home and they still did not have everything packed. They took my shipment to their warehouse and downloaded it after stealing my personal lock since they did not bring their own seals because they needed the truck for another shipment (you weren’t even done with mine). That’s when I knew we were going to have problems. Then, they charged me over $300 for storage because THEY could not deliver the next day as scheduled because the other shipment they contracted took longer than expected. Are you serious, I contact Mrs. Lucas numerous times to have the packers come back to finish and I was told they would be there but one excuse was child care issues, another was the employees were not working that day (then why did they schedule for that day). This company is unprofessional, lazy, they complain about working, it’s appalling, truly. Don’t waste your money. If you are military like I am-demand they assign another TSP! This is what was left after my move was supposedly completed: notice the tags and packing boxes, tape, paper left after the first ‘shipment’ and they called it complete! This company should be ashamed and after all these negative reviews I have no idea how they still have a contract with the government. On a side note-Elroy was amazing!!!! One saving grace for this company but if I had my say, I’d cancel their contract!!!!!!!!!

BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU THESE PEOPLE ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL. THEY PACKED OUR MOVE TO FLORIDA AND THEIR WORKERS STOLE HIGH VALUE ITEMS FROM US AND BROKE MAJORITY OF THE FURNITURE WE HAD AND DIDN’T EVEN INVENTORY HALF OF OUR HOUSE!!!! THEY EMPLOYEE THIEVES, AND THE OWNER IS NO BETTER. RUDE!!!! THEY SHOULD NEVER WORK FOR THE MILITARY AGAIN! DISGUSTING! IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE! TRULY SOME OF THE WORSE HUMAN BEINGS OUT THERE! THE MILITARY SHOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND IF THEY ASSIGN THEM TO YOU, DEMAND FOR A DIFFERENT COMPANY, EVEN IF IT DELAYS YOU MOVE, TRUST ME IT WILL BE WORTH IT.

I just drove from Fort Hood which was a terrible place, had to weigh in before unloading my U-Haul. There were only two places Lucas Moving or someplace out in Savannah. Based on these reviews I wasn't sure about going to Lucas Moving, but ladies and Gentlemen I'll say that Miss Nancy here at Lucas Moving made me feel like family. She assisted with the whole process took great care in answering all of my questions, and got me on my way very quickly. I highly recommend everyone avoid the negative reviews and give this place a try. Very clean, very friendly and just all around gotta support our Mom & Pop shops I believe. Again thank you so much Lucas Moving & Storage. Made my PCS journey so much easier due to you.

When these people showed up to do our ETS (military) move, I knew we would have issues. They don't bring crates with them to crate your belongings in front of you; their M.O. is to bring all of your belongings back to their warehouse where they can pick through your stuff and take what they want before they crate it. They seemed offended when I insisted that I go back with them to the warehouse the next day to watch them crate it. I am thankful I did. Still, they had enough time to swap our nearly-$300 portable AC unit (packed and taped up in the manufacturer carton) with a dirty, used, portable AC. I'll give them credit, though; they did put extra packing paper in the box with the (smaller) portable AC so we couldn't tell the difference until we actually opened the box to use it months later. Slick. Not to mention, they snapped the legs off our table because they were too lazy to take it apart. Instead, they just shoved it in their moving truck against a side-wall, allowing it to tip over. Luckily, I got photos of the broken table when they unloaded it at their warehouse. Bunch of thieves, I don't recommend. You're better off moving yourself.

The military should really do away with this crooked company. These people stole my son’s TV, weed eater, lawn mower, and leaf blower. I really dislike people that take from others, but they will pay me! I will not let up.
