2014 gmc sierra base model 4x4 landers toyota of little rock arkansas 141,000 miles 23,000 dollars finaced crucial mistake on my part As Is in my defense the salesman told my gullable self that they dont just sell anything here at landers. Very nice looking truck clean i mean you would have thought it was brand new and to me it was i needed the truck so that i could pursue my dream at starting my own appliance repair company the truck would help me with my daily task a to b home to home repair jobs and parts pick up well every thing was going great i just picked up some home warranty companys like american home sheild and 210 home buyers warranty along with my word of mouth customers and ones i have gathered over the years so i was on the highway a bit all the sudden the truck started to give a small vibration at speeds around 65-70 mph so i had the truck looked at by a mechanic he told me the truck needed a front end job and it would cost me somewhere around 1400.00 for the repair at the time i had a little money saved back yes i would put a dent in my saving but it had to be done this is maybe 156,000 miles okay done back on the road up and running then all the sudden i want to say somewhere at about 164,000 the trucks oil pressure started pinging shut the truck down had it towed and looked at by a mechanic the mechanic told me it was the oil pump along with a heavty price for the repair 1600.00 please be mindful that im still paying on the truck as finaced i do not have the money to pay this so tow truck back home more money i did the oil pump job myself im very handy with tools  i fix things to make a living upon the oil pump replacement i notice that the timing chain is lose and im sorry but if whom ever is reading this and have never replace or worked on an engine please understand that none of this is simply done you have got to understand the man hours i have put into this truck back to timing chain and it being lose i noticed that the chain itself runs on a plastic guide plastic the plastic guide is not there its gone i later find it in the bottom of the oil pan as i removing the oil pump i see that the timing chain has been slapping the side of the oil pump not good not good at all this broke off small metal into the engine block i have the old oil pump to show you the perfect grove it made into the pump at this point all i can do is reassemble the truck new oil pump new guide new oil new fluids brand new oil change put the keys into the ignition and bomb just like that we have normal oil pressure and everything seems to be running fine i know thats the extent to what i should have to repair on this truck im good we are good smooth sailing i happy even tho but you would not believe what happens at 173,000 the truck makes a awful clank o no o no what is this im headed to a job smoke coming from underhood the engine dies i pull over its a bit dark but i can see just enough i had a smoke trail behind me i always watch my gages the truck wasnt running hot at this point im screwed i call a tow truck he delivers truck to my home i immediatly drain oil and coolant just started to pour out of oil pan omg please help me im drained with this ive called landers you know i have i went to them asking them for help nothing they tell me the truck isnt even worth trading so i have no choice but to get to work to find issue when i knew the issue the whole time the timing chain slapping off metal into block but that would mean i would have to do a piston and block change on engine i dont have the time or heavy equipment for the job so i talk to some of the local mechanics even call a couple gmc retailers they dont have much advise but some tell me change head gaskets and to get the heads resurfaced before putting them back on alot easier said than done especially due to me and my family being flat broke do to the truck breaking down and parts

Luther will not respond to complaints let alone address them. I have emailed them multiple times now via their web portal with no response from the first message. I then wrote a second follow up message. I was emailed back with a polite response promptly stating this issue would be addressed and someone would reach out to me promptly. That was weeks ago, no follow up still. We took our Honda Odyssey to Luther Hopkins Honda for 2 recalls, engine and brake oils changed and a clunk to be found. We had to wait months just to get our Odyssey in for service. Our Odyssey was still under factory warranty at that time and is now still under the Honda Certified Pre Owned warranty as well as the extra coverage Luther weaseled us into buying with the Odyssey. We got our Odyssey back in pieces and dirty with oil/ grease left behind. Also, the clunk is still there. We were charged extra only to have them not find the problem. I called Luther Hopkins Honda multiple times attempting to reach a manager and their managers did not even respond to the VMs/ messages left with the front desk until multiple calls were made. Once 1 manager finally did respond, they agreed to take a look at my pictures via email. I sent emails to said manager and they did not respond. That is when I reached out to Luther via their parent website only to again be ignored. Congrats on this well deserved 1 star Google review, loosing our business forever and gaining a lifetime of "bad word of mouth". We have purchased multiple vehicles from Luther and brought them in to Luther for service, never again.

Ben, Kris, and Charlie at Bloomington Acura gave us a quotation for RDX A-Spec Advance on lease on the day of test drive (with VW Tiguan trade-in) and when we went back assuming they would do better. They said it was a mistake by another manager and kept on changing the numbers for tax, sale price, miles per year, and other things. In addition, the lease amount kept on increasing every time we mentioned, this is not the same as the previous quote. Moreover, they said we will not honor the 1st quote at all.

This company owns St. Cloud Subaru. I took my Subaru in for service with no damage and they returned it to me with damage. The service manager is giving me the run around and making excuses. There is damage to my rear bumper, tire, rim and hood.
