I was told on the phone there would be 3 movers and he quoted me $390. I got 2 movers and I *know* times and quotes fluctuate, but it fluctuated all the way up to $650. I explained in detail over the phone how many rooms and larger pieces I had before making my appointment so I don't feel like there should've been THAT much of a miscommunication. When I told the movers this, they said "oh, he probably thought you meant it was a two room house, not a two bedroom...but it's definitely going to be $650". Two whole rooms for an entire house? :| mkay. ANYWAY, the movers weren't in love with being there and it was obvious but I guess who *would* enjoy moving a bunch of furniture. Not me....that's why I hired them 😒 They were good about taking care of my stuff and putting things back together though

Luther Transfer did a fantastic job moving my belongings from my old house to my new residence. The crew was professional, considerate, and punctual. I couldn’t have been happier with their services, and would recommend them to friends or family!

I was not impressed by Luther Transfer. Aside from being terribly overpriced ($2,500 plus $350 in tips for 15 hours), I had the following issues: (1) The movers were unprofessional. They showed up late both days, acted annoyed that they had to work (especially if it was getting close to 5pm), and required constant direction lest they just stand around and do nothing. One even pooped in my new house and left the bathroom door open so we could all enjoy the smell of whatever rotten thing he had eaten the night before. (2) Furniture was hastily assembled. My son’s crib was missing screws; had we not caught this he could have been seriously hurt. (3) Our tv was knocked over and the HDMI cable was broken. (4) They refused to move a patio umbrella because it was “too late.” (5) When the owner was contacted about issues with the move, he was defensive and rude. He at least arranged for our patio umbrella to be moved. There was an older gentleman who did a fine job, as well as a younger kid the first day. However, one kid just stood around looking confused both days, and the other was terribly rude and made our moving experience far more stressful than it should have been. Overall, I do NOT recommend Luther Transport.

We used Luther’s to do our move and it was a very good experience! I appreciate everything they did for us! They went over the top with everything I asked out of them!! I recommend them to everyone!
