Zack (lead), Jesus, and Juan of MK Movers were awesome! They packed, taped, loaded, and unloaded the moving van for our move in great time and with care. They also had excellent communication skills in letting us know what they were doing, asked us where we would like items placed, and made us aware every hour of how much time they had left with us on the job. They were respectful and very careful with our items while moving them out of our old home and into our new home. They were also kind to our children and spoke with respect. While you may think this is a norm in doing business, I can assure you (while is SHOULD be), it is NOT. Our last moving company was not easy to deal with, did not show up on time, did not send enough staff, and used vulgar language when they spoke to each other so we could hear them express their frustrations. I had to kindly ask them to watch their laguage. Sadly, this experience was with a national company. After this experience, we decided to try a local company and really hit the jackpot in excellent service with MK Movers. Our experience with MK Movers was wonderful. I cannot rate them high enough and would absolutely utilize their services, again.

This was a professional job the whole way. From coming to my home to create a quote, to the office providing a quality quote. Then the scheduling process contacting me and working with me to make sure my schedule was handled with no issues. Follow up was always there with reminder emails with date and arrival times. But then the kicker was the team that loaded and unloaded. All furniture and items were wrapped and handled with care. Very efficient and cautious. At unloading they walked through the home first to determine best ways to deliver each piece to where we needed wanted it. Reassembled each item carefully. Even moved items around after it was placed to handle our changing minds. This team was GREAT! They absolutely wanted us to be sure we were satisfied and happy. And they did that. I will emphasize that this team ROCKED. Our move was a 6 hour drive each way for them and not once was there any comment about distance or time. This may be my last move but if not I will use M. K. Movers again.

Our out-of-state moving experience with MK Movers was excellent! The guys were terrific at both loading and unloading. Mikey, Christian, Juan, Pierre and Eric J. were very professional, patient, friendly and polite. Couldn't ask for a better crew!

The MK moving crew that helped us were some of the hardest working guys I have ever been around. From the moment they arrived, to the moment they left, they were all business and worked. They even inspired my wife and I to work. I really appreciate how seamless and efficient MK Movers made moving day. I do not plan on moving again, but MK Movers will be my first referral to anyone who asks for a good moving company. Thank you

We used them for an out of state move. I packed the house and had everything in the garage (except for furniture) and they were very efficient with loading the truck. They stored our things for 4.5 months and were very accommodating when I had to change our delivery date a few times. Zack let me know when they arrived in SC and kept me updated with their arrival time. He and Sal are great guys. My 3 stars isn’t because of them. My first issue is MK Movers lost the hardware to one of our beds. Zack and Sal weren’t our furniture packers so they had no idea where it was or any way to remedy the situation. Second- they had to rent a Ryder truck and a few boxes and contents were wet from a leak. Zack sent pictures to the office as proof. Missing hardware and a leak happen- but the office knew and no one has called to see how they can help. No satisfaction survey or attempt to make things right. My son’s bed has been discontinued and it was extremely difficult to find hardware that we could rig to make it work. My paperback books are still drying. I’ve heard worse stories about other companies so mine isn’t a moving horror story, but checking in would be good customer service regardless of issues.

Ans: The best time to move is weekdays and off-peak season. During this time the M.k. Movers are easily available and moves are less expensive.
