You should not charge drivers for trying to save your money, making drivers go way out of the way and spend more money out of your pocket for fuel cost and not take the toll roads, which would save your company money. YOU tell drivers if they take toll roads you make them pay for being out of route. It would be faster to take toll roads getting drivers to the destination faster and on time. Then they can get ready for the next load. Driver depend on loads the more loads they get the better their pay is. Not how many miles in a week for one load. Drivers want more that 2 loads a week. You should change this aspect of your business. Also the ping system You charge Driver if they dont do the ping system get get a fine. Drivers should not have to stop and mandate your truck for destination verification. Drivers can't always stop on the side of the highway or roads for miles as not all roads have a shoulder to pull over or any close destination to pull into. I have traveled all over USA. I have Lived in 5 different states and know all the hwys and roads in each. And there are several roads with no shoulders or close destinations to pull into. You are the only company that does this. Driver be aware of these concerns before you sign onto SMITH. To many rules makes me wonder how knowledgeable you are about the trucking industry and for the drivers.

Super great people to work with, good pay and really a family feeling, awesome equipment ALWAYS maintained ,they put the drivers first , i came to Smith with such a bad attitude towards trucking after working for mega carriers , now i love my job again 🤘😎🤘😁

I just started working here 5/10/22 I’m so please I made the move, great people and great equipment they maintain it very well , every time you come to the yard , your truck will be headed to the shop to be lube and check .. I’m spoiled here , I was so burned out by big companies that I did debate on coming here for over 2 years… Am glad I did .. First time I ever have a truck that was given a choice K W or Cascadia . I took K W nice ride smooth.. Also that comes equipped with everything, clean mattress,inverter, fridge , CB . And a tv ..💯❤️❤️❤️ Thank you 🙏Smith family for making us driver feel need it .. The best thing they leave you alone , get load and get directions.. Open communication in here ..

I've heard from many others these guys are great. I MAY be moving on from a good company but I always try to move up never backwards when I make any moves. If I do move on I WILL be coming here. I have over 30 years experience OTR and know a good company when I hear so many current and former employees saying good things. My negative experiences was after I gave them permission to reach out to Schuster Company while still working at Schuster, Smith gavee a verbal promise of employment then Schuster terminated me on fabricated information. Than Smith DIDN'T hire me. I'm guessing they are buddies. But it was a blessing in disguise because I'm employed with a local company, where I live, making more money and home 2 days after each 3 day trip. 😁

Been with Smith for over 11 years and last year when I left to try another opportunity with a friend I knew after 2 months that it was a mistake. Not that my friend did anything wrong,so after a month of thinking and a lot of praying I realized that I just missed Smith. The Smith family and staff treated me well and I liked Worthington its like a 2nd home being from Arizona. Also Mike Phil and Pat helped me and encouraged me to become an owner operator about 6 years ago. I know that Smith isn't right for everyone but if you do your job and get to your destination on time. There's pretty much nothing that they would do for you. I got my CDL in 1985 its taken me a while to find a Great place to work. I'm in truck 529 come talk with me. I'll give you my honest opinion.
