We just completed a long distance move from New York to Florida with Mabey’s Moving and Storage.We had them do some of our packing including kitchen and dining room dishes, glasses and other items plus wall hangings and mirrors. They did a quick and amazing job packing. Ryan did a reasonable estimate of our move. Our coordinator, Rachel did a great job keeping us informed of procedures and arrival dates, Dylan was in charge of the packers and responsible for loading and driving the Atlas Van with our things. Dylan and his two sets of moving helpers were very hard working , pleasant and professional both when we were leaving NY and unloading the truck in Florida. Everything got to our destination and was unloaded into a storage space in an organized manner. We are very satisfied and highly recommend Mabey’s moving and Storage for your move.

We had yet another great experience with Mabeys. Both moves went smoothly and we had no incidents. All of the movers were not only unbelievably hard working and conscientious of our homes and our things, but also lovely people whom we really enjoyed spending time with, and who made the process truly enjoyable. Everyone at Mabey's made my recent move so easy! They are highly professional in every aspect of their business. I was given a clear cost estimate based on a personal survey of my home. A packet of literature included valuable information for my planning purposes. The office staff were always available to cheerfully answer any questions I might have. The van arrived as planned and the movers were careful and efficient in packing up and unloading my furniture. I could not have been happier and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a move!

Like others have said, we received a super fast and what I assumed was an accurate quote. Everything was supposedly all set until the morning of our move when the movers showed up with half the supplies they needed. No extra boxes, no materials to pack any of our mattresses, no expectations of what they were actually packing - which was a 3 bedroom house and a barn. They were utterly confused the entire time. Missed entire closets, drawers, and shelving units. When it came time to pack our barn, we were told we were out of room in the moving truck the estimator was positive we wouldn't fill. We had to go rent an additional trailer and buy more moving supplies because again, they didn't bring enough. Incredibly frustrating and stressful process that could have been avoided with an accurate quote. Not to mention, now that we have unpacked, the list of damaged items just keeps growing - a king size Purple mattress, our dining room table, workout equipment, my wedding dress. We can't even get a call back anyone in charge, not that they would make any of this right. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for moving help.

Just finished moving into our new home and could not be happier with the moving company. Mabey’s moving and storage of Albany NY is an excellent choice for such a trying time. The driver Dylan was on time and and his crews worked very efficiently until all the work was done both loading and unloading. I would highly recommend using this company for your moving needs.
