I am a frequent shopper at Walmart because of thier unbeatable low prices, especially in the grocery section. Their pricing is hard to beat. Additionally, their frequent restocking ensures that you're more likely to find what you need in stock and I appreciate that they are open until 11pm. However, there is a major drawback when it comes to purchasing personal hygiene and beauty products. These items are locked up, presumably to prevent theft, which is understandable. But the process of actually retrieving these products is where Walmart falls short. It is incredibly difficult to find an employee available to assist, and even when you do, they are often rude and/or don’t have the necessary key and have no idea who does. This lack of organization can make a quick trip for essentials turn into a frustrating, time-consuming experience. In many stores, customers can press a button to alert staff when help is needed in these locked areas, but Walmart does not offer this which is absurd. ** This review is specifically for the Walmart on story rd in San Jose. I want to note that the app and online customer experience is wonderful and I tell all my friends and family to sign up for Walmart+.

2024 Review 4-star: Walmart has since improved its interior decor appearances. Now things are well organized and displayed and decor are way much better. i.e., display stations throughout different section of store and not just rows and rows of shelves. Can't wait to see how Xmas decorations can be this December. Food prices on most items are now better than at FoodMax. Negative things: 1. shopping carts are 50% available to pick up at entrance. It's better to bring one from outside drop off stall location. 2. shopping carts are mostly left between cars possibly because people in this area are lazy to take an extra minute to drop it off at a drop off stall location. 3. stocking materials/carts are strewn all over the aisle throughout the day and tend to block passeway. 2023 Review: 1-star What a Bah Humbug Christmas decor for this 2023 Christmas season….not recommending to shop Christmas gifts here.

This Walmart is very close to my place so I come here to do grocery shopping often. It's pretty spacious. It's not super clean like Sprouts or Whole foods but not too bad. Acceptable. Price is affordable, cheaper than Safeway. For the most part, produce is pretty fresh. I'd recommend going in the morning to have more choices. The deli department probably my least favorite. It usually takes forever for someone to help you and people work there are not really friendly. Besides groceries, this Walmart also has Pharmacy and other stuff so it's convenient to go to 1 place and get multiple things.

I must say I am very very impressed with pick up today. I ordered a battery and I went to pick up area and parked to call for my order. No one answered the 2 times I called. Then I see a phone call coming in and it was Walmart calling me back. Wow. They never called before and I Have to say today was a good day. Thank you Abel for calling me back. You up the game and Made my day.excellent customer service Today you get a 5 Star rating.keep up the great customer service.

This location is good to shop because it is well supplied with a great variety of goods. Also the grocery section is nice and affordable. I have gone to many Walmart store and found some that are poorly stored with decent products on shelves. So I guess it depends on which neighborhood you shop.. i just want to go to places with may choices to choose from.
