We moved from NYC to San Diego and used Maffucci Moving and Storage for the move. The experience we've had with them has been beyond excellent. From the start, estimate and planning, through packing and transport, it has been a pleasure. The team of packers and the crew who loaded the truck took great care of our stuff. It was impressive to see their teamwork and efficiency and the respect they paid to our possessions. Any of you who have moved recently know how stressful it can be; those of you who are planning a move, do yourself (and your blood pressure) a favor and choose Maffucci for your move. Maffucci team members who have made our move much easier include Marlon, Dianne, Gary, Billy, John, Elmer, Dario, Juan, Kevin, Daniel and Ray. Huge thanks to these folks and everyone behind the scene who make this company excellent!

Really great crew! Pat, Junior, John, Orlando, Joe and one other who I didn’t get his name but they were very professional and they hauled butt. Very hard workers. Pat was the team leader and he had a total “can-do” attitude which really put me at ease through the process. We’re a big family of 6 (plus two dogs) moving 5 bedrooms so it was a little stressful. They came in and Wrapped everything which protected all our furniture. Not a scratch or nick in anything. There were a bunch of things we missed or didn’t pack. No problem, they took care of everything. Before I had a chance to unload my full sized deep freezer they had the damn thing wrapped up and in their truck still full of frozen food. Never seen anything like it. I could’ve brought an elephant in and they’d have it wrapped up and snug in their truck. Great moving company.

Maffuci moved us locally & our experience from meeting with us for a quote til the end of the move when the trucks left our new home was perfect. The movers were professional, courteous & took excellent care of packing our furniture & moving every box carefully. I would recommend Maffuci movers to anyone looking to move near or far.

Local move took an extremely long time and the bill was nearly 75% above estimate. All was disclosed to them before-hand. I knew one item ended up being very difficult to move, so expected that we'd have to pay more - but not that much more. Their estimate was way off and they blamed me. They said it should have been a 4-person job and the responsibility was for me to complain during the move. I'm not the moving professional. Said we weren't packed and the movers had to wait (only things we packed when movers were there was bedding that had been slept on, couch pillows, and a few items under the bathroom sink). When I asked what specifically wasn't packed, they couldn't tell me. They also accused me of trying to cheat them and not pay (would never do that). Though the movers were lovely, it seemed that we got 1 experienced mover and 2 who seemed quite inexperienced. Full disclosure - they did give me $200 off the final bill, but the bill was still $1300 more than estimated. I feel horrible that I chose them, as the move was for my elderly mother. I should have paid more attention to the other 1-star reviews.

Pat,John and Junior showed up ahead of schedule and immediately surveyed what needed to to go where in the move.They were pleasant, professional, accommodating, and efficient. They made the move in record time and stress free for us. They are truly valued Maffucci employees, and should be highly regarded throughout the industry.
