I recently had Martin Storage move me intrastate and from Bob Dooley, Pam in the office, Dwayne, Jeremy and Tommy the crew, it was a very good experience. They were more than willing to accommodate all my needs when the first sale of my house fell through, then Covid and then the short notice I gave them when my house did sell, they worked with me all the way. The crew showed up on time for both the load and delivery, took care handling my possessions and were good natured to work with. I recommend them.

If I could give negative stars I would. First off do not use these people ever, even for moving a tiny studio apartment. They would probably find a way to turn it into 6 trips and novel bad excuses. Now let me go into our experience. First, they were scheduled to come between 9 and 10 am on June 28th, the movers didn’t get to our house until 2:30 pm and only showed up with 3 guys to move a 3 bedroom house with a basement. They worked for 2 hours, loaded up a few boxes, then promised to come back the next day at 8 am. The 3 movers did not get to our house until 10:30 the next day and told us that 2 other guys would be along shortly. These 2 guys didn’t show up until 2 pm. They took until 7:30 pm to only load up ⅓ of the moving truck to drive it from central Maryland to western Maryland. They left 13 pieces of furniture and a garage ½ full of boxes at our old house and after several phone calls finally the owner agreed to deliver the rest of our things today. The owner, named Bob, is a whiny incompetent individual who shouldn’t be put in charge of anything ever. The movers themselves were polite and hardworking and are simply badly managed and not given proper equipment. Quite honestly a troop of trained monkeys could move a house in a more professional and expeditious manner than Bob and his crew.

The service and attention we were given by Martin's and by the company they worked with, Victory Van Lines was beyond exceptional. On time, courtesy, very hard working personnel and they were even patient and played with the dog. Use Martin's if you are moving.

Worst moving company in existence! If you do not want your property damaged do not hire this company!

We have moved 4 times over the last 40 years. This was by far the best moving experience we have ever had. On time, and very professional.
