The Mattox Group is phenomenal! Mr. Fagan and Mrs. Davis were really helpful and answered all of my questions. Last year was the first time I had to factor in being married and being a new commissionee into the military into doing my taxes and the Mattox Group helped me to understand what was needed to file in a new tax category. The mid year and end of the year meetings allowed me to ask tax related questions as my life changed throughout the year and helped me to better understand what to expect when filing for the next year.

J and Brittney are beyond wonderful and competent. We thought we were on the hook for $200K in capital gains for the sale of a rental property - this is per our old CPA (who just mailed it in and charged us every time we asked her a question). J brought our liability down to to 60K by digging into our past taxes and found an error our old CPA had made and unclaimed write offs we could take. He's amazing! We are retired and the 140K we saved by his diligence was so welcomes. Also, for the first time, we had a half year review with him and identified ways we can keep our tax liability down for this tax year. We do not hear the Ka-ching Ka-ching every time we ask him a question either. They are simply amazing. I cannot sing their praises enough.
