I bought a plow, mount and wiring set up on Facebook and brought it to Maxwell to install only to find out that the plow could not be used with the mount I got. Nick, Melissa and Bryon provided me with excellent customer service as they installed the mount and wiring on my truck, explained and showed me why the plow I got would not work and answered numerous questions over the next week that helped me find a new plow that was best suited for my needs. Overall, they turned what could have been a horrible experience into a great one and I will definitely be going back to them for all of my future service needs. Thank you.

The company is a pretty good company to work for, at least when I was there it was. I heard that Ed fleet consists of all automatics now, which I hate because I'm a professional shifter/floater. The company owner is pretty cool and I have to admit that the guy have great taste because his wife Julia is utterly gorgeous...don't hate me Ed. Oh yeah, I can't forget the little/big homie Dan...he's alright too, I guess.

This company is very difficult to communicate with. I had an almost fatal accident on Shiloh Road with one of their drivers who was speeding with a large trailer attached and when I pulled over to make sure my passenger was ok, the driver yelled at me. Fifteen minutes later I called to speak with a manager, Dan, and Dan had no interest in listening to me. He continually spoke over me and eventually told me "whether you are going fast or slow, there is a blind spot on the truck and he couldn't see you." When I tried to ask why it is ok to speed with a known blind spot while turning, he spoke over me, told me I was "wound up" and denied his words. He has no interest in the safety of the community. I do not recommend doing any business or trying to communicate with these people, especially if you are a woman. In terms of professionalism and common courtesy, Dan may do better responding to such phonecalls saying safety is important to his company instead of mansplaining.

First off I work for a banking company our customer was involved in a total loss she moved to another state and told her Landlord that the ins company would be coming to get it. Before the ins company could in fact get it the landlord had it towed by Maxwell. We as the lienholder were never notified by Maxwell that the vehicle was towed. We contacted the landlord who told us that he worked for them, and would have that department fax us Monday with the bill and pictures of the car. that was two weeks ago. finally the customer called and told us that the landlord sent them a letter explaining were the car was, I then had to google for the office number (until time the landlord never told us the company) Then we get the bill after the customer and ins company refused to pay, and they have charged 48.00 dollars per day in storage over a 1,000 in storage fees. When I asked if they could help us out bc we were the only ones trying to stay in contact, we were told no. at this point I realized the man denying my plea for help was in fact the landlord who had it towed, and denied that she ever notified him in the first place.... to put this perspective most impound lots in Pittsburgh only charge 20/day ... sounds like a money racket to me
