***See update below!! It gets worse!!*** I recently moved from a 1-bedroom apartment to a single-family home just 10 miles away, and it was the worst moving experience I've ever had. Despite having all my boxes packed and ready, the two young movers seemed either hungover or high, moving incredibly slowly. What should have been a quick and easy move ended up taking over 8 hours. When I asked them to pick up the pace, they completely ignored me. To make matters worse, they broke my dining room table, a bathroom accessory, and damaged the stairs leading to my room. Not only did they not apologize for the damages, but they also left my back door open despite my request to keep it closed because I have two dogs. One of my dogs ended up getting out, which was extremely stressful. The way they loaded everything into the garage was a complete disaster—so disorganized that I couldn’t even close the garage door. They also left all the boxes that were supposed to go downstairs piled up at the main entrance, making it impossible to walk through. When I spoke with the owner, he was completely indifferent and didn’t seem to care about my concerns. To top it all off, I was charged $1800 when I was originally quoted $700-$900. Do yourself a favor and do not book with this company! ***9/24/24 UPDATE!!**** I hired Meridian for my move, and it has been a financial and emotional disaster. Not only did they overcharge me for the move, but they also damaged my property, breaking my stairs, dining room table, and a bath accessory. Despite my attempts to resolve the situation, they have been incredibly rude and unresponsive. They refuse to answer emails and will only communicate over the phone, which feels like a calculated move to avoid leaving a paper trail. To make matters worse, after I left my initial review, Angel from Meridian called and threatened me, saying that if I didn’t take it down, they wouldn’t fix my stairs or reimburse me for the broken table and bath accessory. I now have to pay my landlord out of pocket to fix the broken stairs, and I’m stuck buying a new dining room table because Meridian won’t replace it. While they did refund me for one hour of work at first, they recharged my card for that same hour after my review went up, which is just another example of their dishonesty. This whole situation has put me in debt, and their refusal to make things right is beyond unprofessional. I feel like everyone should know what they’re getting into before booking this company. Meridian is a terrible, dishonest, and unworthy company that has no respect for their customers or their belongings.

Shane Cody Christian and Cooper did an amazing job. The move took a lot longer than we all expected, but the entire crew was positive and hard working until the very end. We are very pleased and best of all there was no damage to any of our furniture.

They were professional, efficient, and really knew what they were doing. They made the whole moving process so much easier for me. Elijah and Zach were awesome! They communicated well, had excellent manners & understood exactly what furniture we needed moved. They put together a plan and carried it out flawlessly. Very prompt as well! Great guys; Great company! Have used Meridian 6-7 times now....wouldn't use anyone else! Great job guys!!
