The Metropolis Team are very reliable movers with fair pricing and great execution. I use them consistently for work related moves (I work for a CPG brand that needs large display assets moved around the NYC metro for activation events). Metropolis movers have always been on time and complete moves without any damages or missing items. I've also been thoroughly impressed with their dependable communication both from their management and their movers the day of the appointment. Highly recommend!

I've moved more than a few times in my life, both long distance and local, and have dealt with my fair share of moving pains. Metropolis moving was outstanding and by far my easiest moving experience. Initially picked them because they had the best overall price point, however their quality of service was excellent. The driver Chris was super communicative with ETAs since they had other moves to do earlier in the day. They were quick, efficient, and careful operators. All in all, from arrival to completion at the new apt (including a 3 floor walk-up), done in 3 hours. These guys were pros and at great prices to boot. 10/10 would definitely recommend for moving in the city.

By far the best moving experience to date (I’ve moved now 3 times in NYC). Jake and Ricky handled our items with such care in our move from a fifth floor walk up to another fifth floor walk up. They were incredibly efficient, professional, and just the nicest guys. They didn’t rush any part of the move and all of our fragiles and furniture arrived in perfect condition. Will recommend them and Metropolis to all my friends moving in New York City.

Really great experience with Metropolis, over multiple encounters/moves, both for moving almost an entire apartment, and also having a piece of furniture delivered from a store. Very reasonable rates, prompt responses, clear communication. Very nice guys, thorough. They wrap everything very carefully and really take the time to make sure everything goes exactly where you want it, and they help assemble furniture carefully. I had a giant piece of furniture that did not quite fit around the curve of the top of my stairs, but on first attempt, they really tried everything they could to get it into my apartment. When we realized it was not going to fit, they offered to store the piece at their facility so that I could have a contractor take down my railing, and they later delivered the piece successfully on a different day. Very heavy/large piece, but nothing was damaged. Honest, capable, strong, nice, careful, real people. It feels as if you are dealing with actual humans and not a company. I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to anyone, for any type of move. Thank you Metropolis Moving for all your help!
