UPDATE November 2022 Well this was a roller coaster experience. What started out very positive, turned very sour quickly and it wasn't until I posted my original review that I got action. Mi-Box has acknowledged that the unit they sent me was defective and incomplete- it was in fact missing the system to secure things in the box. Somehow I managed to slip through their inspection process and get a unit that was not equipped properly. Since then, Mi-Box has compensated me for the furniture that was broken that could be replaced. At the end of the day, this company did make things as right as they could. I hate that it was a response to a negative review that provoked the support, but they did follow through. Original review from October 2022 ************************ This company started out with a lot of positive. They were affordable and local, and when I needed to move my date earlier they were able to do so. The storage container itself is just a box. No more, no less. It has no place inside to anchor or secure things during transport. Once I unpacked my things, I found 4 broken pieces of furniture. These are items I moved from Baltimore, MD to Maine 3 years ago using Pods without any issues. I contacted Mi-Box to schedule the final pick up and asked about how to file a claim. I was told they would check with their supervisor and I would get a call back. I heard nothing for 2 days. I followed up with an email. I received a response the next day with no instructions, just a pdf of someone else's contract that showed the name of the insurance company highlighted. While my initial experience was good and the price lower than pods, I cannot recommend this company. ** Edited to add response to Owner Your salesperson called me 3 times and emailed after my initial online quote to make sure you would get my business, so I was shocked by the lack of follow-through when I had a problem. If they had been able to tell me "I'm sorry, look at this page in your contract for this information", that would have been sufficient. But to promise a call, and not respond until I asked for directions in a different format days later was extremely disappointing. I will look through my other photos, but the box that was delivered (and conveniently picked up this morning so I cannot get new photos as proof) did Not have rings to use to secure things. Perhaps you are referring to some of your newer boxes. But I would have absolutely used those if they had been present.

Highly recommend! The service of the boxes was so helpful during our move process. Randi was very responsive and helpful and made the whole process smooth. The delivery drivers were kind, helpful and thoughtful. Great communication from everyone. The whole process really put our minds at ease during a stressful move. Overall Mi-Box was a positive experience. The logistics of everything (drop off, pick up, timing) was great. You generally had to leave a voicemail each time you called, but they were quick to respond. Emails were also quick responses. They called to confirm drop offs and pick ups so everything was smooth. Again, a positive experience and I would certainly use them again.

Outstanding! We hired MI-BOX to help with a project at our church. Pricing was very reasonable, and the staff were exceptionally pleasant and responsive, even making a special trip to bring furniture blankets (which I had added very late to the order). The whole process could not have been easier. Highly recommended.

We shopped around and MIBox had the best rates, and while “most affordable” doesn’t always equate exceptional service, we can attest to their superb customer service, communication, flexibility, and response times! While we could not anticipate a shifting closing date on a new home, MIBox worked with us so it was one less stressor in our home transition. We hope to never have to move again, but would employ their services in a heartbeat. Can’t recommend highly enough.
