I switched to Dr. Shockley as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I have had a great experience with his office. They have been so helpful and easy to work with. The staff has been kind and I LOVE the ultrasound ladies they are awesome!!! Dr. Shockley himself is easy to talk to and answers all of my questions in a way that is easy to understand. He makes me feel comfortable and I feel like I have received attentive and thorough care. I always schedule early morning appointments and I have never had to wait more than 10- 15 minutes to go back, and I have never waited long in the office either. Because I am a pregnant patient I have not seen his NP so I can't say anything about her. I would recommend his office to anyone!

5 years ago after getting married, I started seeing Dr. Shockley with the hopes of one day staring a family. He is an amazing doctor and incredibly knowledgeable. He gets to know you and your preferences all while providing options with his best medical recommendations. We had the pleasure of having two beautiful baby girls with two very different deliveries with his assistance. Not to take away from his work in the office, the delivery room is where he shines! Despite the countless babies he has delivered in his career, you would have thought ours were the first with the genuine excitement and happiness he shared with us in those milestones of our life. Between our pregnancies we experienced a miscarriage. His support and willingness to go above and beyond in that difficult time was a blessing. His amazing staff in the office and nurses taking my countless questions are unlike any you will ever find. I would highly recommend Dr. Shockley as well as his FNP Erin Carr who I have had the opportunity to see for my yearly exam.

I wouldn’t give him or his MA Lori No stars. They have 0 bed side manners. They don’t greet you when they enter the room. They don’t acknowledge you when you leave. He doesn’t let you speak. He speaks directly in your face to where he spits on you. My last 2 visits with him, we’re the worst. I’m now switching to a different obgyn! If you want to LIKE AND ENJOY going to your obgyn. I wouldn’t recommend going to Dr. Shockley at all. You’d think medical school would teach you bed side manners also.

He delivered both my boys that are 4 and 1 and I’m seeing him now for my third boy whom I haven’t had yet. He is an outstanding doctor, his NP Erin Carr is wonderful as well, and his nurses and ultrasound ladies are amazing and talk to you like they could be your best friends! They are wonderful people and if I had to have someone refer themselves to any doctor it would be Shockley for sure!

I think he was great, I had an ectopic pregnancy and had to have an emergency surgery and he saved my tubes as well as my ovaries. He was kind, and listened to what I had to say and made my boyfriend and I feel Comfortable. I am able to try again for a baby thanks to him, I will definitely be returning to him with my next pregnancy.
