Dr. Provaznik is wonderful,,,,, takes time needed to listen to my concerns, and gives me an honest opinion . His staff have all been nice and helpful. I would recommend him to all.

I had an appointment with Dr. Porvozink. He was to address my hypertension. I have been on 2 hypertension meds for 20 years prescribed by a cardiologist. He decided to prescribe one of the meds and not the other. I called the next morning after the pharmacy let me know the prescriptions were ready. I noticed that one of them, I thought was missing. I called the office and requested a return call. I was not called back (almost 24 hrs). Unfortunately I was forced to return to the office two days later. I went in to discuss this with a nurse or the doctor. This is what you do when no one calls in a timely manner. During the visit this morning with Dr. Porvoznik I questioned why one was missing. He said...yes these words came from his mouth. "Well, if you are going to do the doctoring, maybe I am not the doctor for you". Therefore, my concerns were not taken into consideration and not addressed. I am sure he was not really concerned with what I had to say. Therefore, I am sure he is not there for me, but for himself. I am 64 years old and have not been treated with this kind of arrogance by a doctor EVER. I am sure Dr. Porvizink has a boss. This needs to be addressed. The reason I am giving an extra star is because the staff was absolutely fantastic. I think Dr. Porvoznik should consider retirement.
